Sub: Karnataka Assembly By-Elections- 2019

We had communicated certain directions in monitoring suspicious cash transactions and

atso unusual transfer of amount through NEFT/RTGS in the accounts of customers during
the etection process for Karnataka Legistative Assembty by-etection - 2019. We observe
that branches are reporting atl transactions above Rs. one lakh and atso suspicious
transactions among the above transactions.

Having regard to the above, we suggest the fotlowing procedure for reporting to us
directty with immediate effect.
1. The transactions to be reported shoutd onty be of suspicious nature.
2. Onty cash transactions above Rs. one [akh, either deposit / withdrawat to be
reported.
3. Unusual transfer of amount through RTGS/NEFT shoutd be reported for transactions
above Rs. one lakh.
4. Deposit / Withdrawal of cash exceeding Rs. one lakh from Bank account of
candidates or spouse or his dependents or any potiticat party as mentioned in the
affidavit fited by the candidate which is"avaitabte in the CEO's website is to be
reported.
5. Unusual or suspicious cash withdrawal or deposit is the one where such instance of
deposit / withdrawal during the last two months are not tracked.

Having regard to the above, we request you to report onty unusual and suspicious cash
transactions up to 05-12-2019 in the fottowing format.
