The affirmative group stands for who is more credible, past days have passed

but we still and will only believe that Andres Bonifacio is the most credible
source of all the other accounts written. Artemio Ricarte wrote his account
after several years had passed. It was written already in his excerpt that he
wrote his work during his imprisonment in 1904 while Andres Bonifacio’s
account was written a month after the assembly. Ricarte even self-exile
himself in Japan. He fought with the Japanese because he sincerely believed
that the Philippines would secure its independence with the help of Japanese,
pwede naman siyang mag-stay sa Pilipinas at ipaglaban ang Kalayaan natin, why
would he do that? Because he is a coward, mahirang nga na Captain General pero
hindi kayang ipaglaban ang sariling bansa. Paano mo pagkakatiwalaan ang
ganitong klase ng tao. Andres Bonifacio didn’t do the same thing for he loves
the Philippine so much na kahit kapwa niya Pilipino ay pagtaksilan siya, hindi
siya susuko makuha lang natin ang Kalayaan.

And sinabi niyo rin na walang dayaan na nangyari, even before the assembly
Mariano Alvarez, in a letter to his uncle-in-law, noted that fraudulence
marred the voting process in Tejeros: Before the election began, I discovered
the underhand work of some of the Imus crowd who had quietly spread the
statement that it was not advisable that they be governed by men from other
pueblos, and that they should for this reason strive to elect Captain Emilio
as President.

You shouldn’t be surprised about the dirty underhand work of the Magdalo even
your self-proclaimed credible source Artemio Ricarte stated that the assembly
was the result of bad intentions. He protested against his own election. That
means that he knew something that isn’t right, or he is part of it. Remember,
he is part of the Magdiwang faction, he was the secretary of Emilio Aguinaldo
dito palang halatang balimbing na siya. Remember that after the Tejeros
Assembly, Andres Bonifacio a day later, become manifested in a document called
the Acta de Tejeros, which proclaimed the events at the assembly to be
disorderly and ruined by trickery, if kasama talaga ng magdiwang si Artemio
Ricarte at umamin siya na na-elect siya as Captain General because of the bad
practices then why would he took his oath as elected officials of the new
revolutionary government, kung pwede naman na tulungan niya si Andres
Bonifacio. That’s because kagaya nga ng sabi ko duwag siya, nasa side na siya
ni Emilio Aguinaldo that’s why I would never doubt na kaya niya lang naisipan
isulat yung account niya to defend the side of Emilio Aguinaldo even the
pointing of the revolver to Tirona ay sinali niya with the description of “
was about to fire” hindi ba parang masydaong exaggerated? Yes, nagawa ni
Andres yon because napuno na siya and napikon and kahit gaano pa kasama ang
ginagawa sakanya hindi niya nagawang patayin si Tirona, paanong gigil ba yung
gusto niyo? Yung katulad ng kay Emilio Aguinaldo? Yung tipong nanalo na sa
election tapos napikon kay Andres kaya pinapatay niya? Ganon ba? Your sources
have taken the wrong side.

His educational attainment and military expertise may not have been equal to
that of other heroes but his love for the country was absolute. His name will
always be revered and serve as the battle cry of Filipinos who yearn for
freedom oppression and injustice. I as the representative of the affirmative
group firmly believe that Andres Bonifacio is the credible source of the
Tejeros Assembly.
