COST CONTROL MEASURES (Housekeeping)

1) EXACT USE OF CHEMICALS WHICH ARE SUITABLE TO THIS PROPERTY


Right now we are using R1, R2, R3, R4, R5,R6,R7,R9,Nobile, Terenova,Spiral
HD,As property just need R1,R2,R6,R7,Spiral HD so it will eliminate 50% of
our cost on chemicals
2) ENCOURAGING GUEST TO REUSE TOWELS
Will try on encouraging guest also to reuse your linen for longer days.

3) STAYING ON REGULAR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE


Staying on regular preventive maintenance will save our cost by 10%
4) USING UESD BATHROOM AMINITIES FOR PUBLIC AREA CLEANING
Again eliminating the chemical cost by using left over bathroom
amenities in cleaning.
5) Using both side paper for printing
6) Turn off systems when not in use
7) Keeping some guest amenities on call (like slippers,loofah,sanitary
bags,shoe shine which cost Is more) which will save half of our amenities
cost.
8) In-house laundry Right now we are processing kaftans, dusters, chef
aprons, chef caps, and face towels, some of the table cloths in-house which
is saving our 20% of cost.
9) Purchase in bulk will cost us less than picking it in smaller quantity,
depend upon performance of hotel and expiry of that product but ordering
in bulk will save our cost.
10) Upselling or creating revenue wherever possible like for example we
need to ask every guest for laundry to be laundered, some doesn’t give
because of lack of info.
