General Game Tips

#Talent Points:
Do: Max out Research & Construction 1&2 ASAP, then Troop Training Speed 1&2
Why: Unless you are doing a lot of fighting, you want your talent points fully focused on speed so that
you can progress as fast as possible and increase your power rating rapidly.

#Making the most of Hasten Items:

Do: Decide what you want to rush next, be it research or construction. Make note of the epic event
points requirements at your castle level and work out how many hastens you will need to reach the top
tier. Save up your hastens until you have enough to complete tier 3, then rush everything at once in the
50 minute window, while the normal event also rewards you for what you are doing.
Why: Hastens are the most valuable resource in the game and need to be spent wisely. Doing this, you
get back many hours of hasten plus a lot of other nice rewards.

#Gathering:
Do: Gather as much as possible for the loot drops in order to craft and upgrade the accessories in the
champion set. Set troops to gather overnight and gather from level 1 sites while you are playing during
the day.
Why: Completing the resources gathering events and the active reward gathering tasks every day for the
free hastens is always useful. The two accessories in the champion set are extremely good items that
boost research speed (Eye of R’hllor ) and Construction speed (Heart of the Ocean). They are big boosts,
so you should upgrade these as quickly as possible.

#Hospitals and Troop Death:

Do: Keep your hospice capacity higher than your total army size by building and upgrading hospitals.
Why: If you are attacked, your troops are only wounded and are not killed, providing there is space in
hospitals for them. If you have enough hospitals, you will never lose troops when defending. When
attacking, 40% of troops lost will die while 60% will be wounded and sent straight back to your hospitals.
This is also the case when defending great cities.

#Hospital/Mint/Army Tent Balance:

Do: Build enough hospitals as above, then as many mints as possible.
Why: Army Tents are almost useless before castle 25, you should only build more than one if you’re
away for long periods and need to set large amount of troops to build. Mints are the most important as
each level gives you 0.5% training speed (then 1% after level 17) and training speed is extremely useful.

#City Farms, Grain and Resources:

Do: Have only one farm and keep your food at 0. Open food boxes and complete quests when you need
food to build something. Keep all resources below warehouse limit.
Why: Troops do not have any negative effect if you run out of food,. You should get enough food from
quest rewards and events that you will never need to produce any. Your food per hour will be negative
with any decent sized army, so make sure you sit at 0 so you don't burn through grain. If you get
attacked and your resources are below warehouse limit, you lose nothing.
#Merchant Ship (unlocked at castle 14):
Do: Buy every item offered by your merchant ship
Why: The rewards get better every time you level it up and you level it up by buying items.

#Rebel Camps and Rallying:

Do: !Only host rallies if you know what you're doing! Only join rallies if you have read the Rallys channel
to check for restrictions. (we're working on that channel now...) NEVER SEND LIGHT TROOPS TO RALLIES.
Use merchant guild to open the reward chests.
Why: Rebel Camp walls are extremely tough, level 4 camps can only be beaten with carefuly organised
Rallys. Level 1 and 2 rallies are low rewards and often not worth doing. Never send light troops, they die
and lower morale, causing the battle to be lost.

#Horsemen/Field Leaders and Alliance Gifts:

Do: Use all of your motivation to kill as many horsemen as possible. Never sit at your motivation limit, as
this is a waste. If you leave a target alive,
Why: Every kill drops an alliance chest, which is progress towards increasing our alliance level as well as
a bit of loot for everyone else in the alliance. The more we kill, the more hastens everyone gets. The
higher our level, the more hastens we get from these drops. Hastens are important!

#Research Priorities
Do: After you have obtained elite troops, focus on the expedition tree. Get everything as high as
possible, work towards researching Expedition Strategies IV so you can unlock the researches after it.
Make sure to level up building mastery to 8 early on as well.
Why: this will maximise the number of horsemen you are killing, which benefits everyone in the alliance
as explained above. General Game Tips

#Weirwood and Commander Strategy

Do: Only put defensive commanders on the frontline. Study commander stats to work out who the best
tanks are. Unlock Gorell as soon as possible. Put Arya on your back line. Always use Sansa.
Why: Different commanders have different strengths. Just because a commander is infantry, it does not
mean they should be put on the front-line. Robb, Osmond and Gorell should be your front three for all
Weirwood fights, unless you pay to unlock extra commanders which might work better for certain fights.
Arya does insane damage and Sansa keeps everyone alive. Ask in #general if you have more specific
questions.

#Stamina and Blitzing

Do: Blitz the highest level possible to maximise the lord exp you are getting per stamina spent. Only
progress through levels if you are getting 3-stars, to make best use of stamina.
Why: Stamina is a very limited yet useful resource and one of the best sources of lord exp. For this
reason, you want to make the most of it. Losing, restarting and quitting weirwood attempts does not
cost any stamina yet you will be charged stamina if you win, no matter how many stars you get. If you
are stuck on a level, press restart if a commander dies and rethink your strategy. -By K2 Xevross and King
Belial

#Troops, Recruitment and Battles

Do: Unlock elite troops as quickly as possible. Don't build many melee troops (especially infantry and
cavalry) until you reach elites, as these will become useless. Get rid of your Light troops as soon as
possible.
Why: royal troops are years away unless you're rich, you will be using elites for most of your time in the
game. Battles work using morale, the first side to hit 0% morale loses. Morale goes down when troops
die. Light troops and veteran melee troops die very quickly. Light troops and veteran melee troops cause
battles to be lost. Don't send them to rallies.

#Military Focus and Research

Do: Unlock elites, as above. Unlock one at a time and build up each one. Archers are recommended to
get first. Get a base level of good military research, but no need for more.
Why: Archers are the best troops for defending, as they shoot over walls. The other 3 are situational,
with efectiveness changing based on the current enemy. In rallies, all the troops take the bonuses of the
rally leader. If you send your troops to someone else’s rally, your research, commander bonuses, sept
bonuses, gear and talents do not apply. This is why, unless you want to be a top player leading our
rallies, it is best to focus your efforts and hastens in trying to build as many troops as possible instead of
researching to improve them. And why you should focus on expedition research once you have elites.

#Commander Bonuses
Do: select wall commanders according to battle bonuses, particularly archers. Collect commanders for
their passive buffs. Upgrade their quality for their passive buff increases, not combat ability
Why: Commander economic bonuses are permanent and apply no matter where your commanders are.
Battle bonuses only apply to battles in which they are commanders of. The wall allows you to select
commanders which will be your default commanders when defending against attacks.

#Spending Money
Do: always ask before you spend money, people know which packs are the best value and what packs to
avoid. The best value for money in this game is to reach VIP 8 ASAP, buy the monthly card and the
'castle upgraded' packs. If you're going to spend money on the game it should be these first and most
importantly.
Why: Some packs are very good while some are a waste. A pack may seem great value because it gives
something you need right now, but that doesn't mean its actually the best one for you to buy. A player
who spent $1000 could be worse than one who spent $100, if the $1000 guy paid no attention while the
$100 guy took all the advice he could get. VIP 8 gives you brilliant bonuses, ideally you'd get to 9 as well
but 9 is a big jump in price. The monthly card is incredible value for money, 13 hours hasten and 400
free diamonds every day, plus 10% construction speed and lord exp for a month.

#Buying Commanders
Do: Buy Melisandre and Theon. Consider if you want to buy enough to upgrade a commander all the
way to legendary before you start buying them, and ask about the estimated cost of that. Ask about any
other commanders you are interested in before you buy them, they may not be worth the money.
Why: Melisandre is brilliant. There's a reason the game is trying to shove her down your throat. She
gives great passive bonuses to archers and to construction speed, and she is brilliant in the weirwood.
Theon is one of the best attacking commanders in the game and is useful for pretty much everything.
Other commanders may seem good but unless you have a lot of money and are collecting as many
passive bonuses as you can, they aren't worth it. Jaime is worse than Gorell, who you can get for free,
for example.
So, I see many people puting some money on the game…
But I wanted to leave something here in case we have anyone who is F2P...

Free to play Guide

First step is getting your castle to Lvl 17. Ignore pretty much everything else on your building slot and
focus on Building REQUIRED only! Doing only the constructions necessary to upgrade your Castle and
advance the Story Quests! (DON't FORGET to keep up Construction RESEARCH in ECONOMY in
MAESTER's Tower, It needs to be at least lvl 8 as soon as you can)

> lvl 17 castle

> lvl 17 tower
> Unlock your ELITE troops - Give priority to Archers and Spears, they're better for defence!

Don't bother creating an army of T1 or T2 and don't bother hastening other researches untill you have
this! (Meaning, save your hastens to this goal, each T3 troop takes 7days)

As for the buildings:

> 1x Army Tent lvl 17 - You'll only need more when your troop count goes above 700k
> 5x Hospitals lvl 17 - Not counting the main one.
> 10x Mints lvl 17 - This will speed up the training time, is the most important thing for you right now!
> spam elites troops - Don't bother going for the T4 troops, these T3s will be your army, create as many
as you can!
> As you keep upgrading your castle, upgrade also your mints/hospitals/tent with it.

This will be your values at lvl 17 with talents, in this metod:

- 2640 batch soldiers
- 190% training speed
- 135 000 hospital places
Extra: Buy talents switch with alliance coins, that way you can change everytime you need...

Next is

Building and Research :

These two are MOST IMPORTANT for fast progress. There are several ways to reduce the times: -Talents
of your lord -Meister tower, by:
1. Upgrading the tower
2. Researching building mastery in it -Equipment for the lord -Hastens. Where to find: Quests, daily
activity ,weirwood, alliance shop, VIP chests, buy with diamonds. Lots of places actually.
NOTE: In my opinion, it is waste of time to start 3-4 days research/building if you are able to upgrade
your maester's tower and your building mastery isn’t locked. Unless you are cornered, don’t do stuff
that take 2+ days. If you have building mastery available for research or you can upgrade your maester's
tower do them ASAP even if they take long.
TIP: For longer researches/builds swap lord equipment that boost whatever you are about to start.

About the Talent tree:

The first thing you want to do is put Building and Research maxed. But, !once you have T3 troops
already researched!, you'll need better training speed. Because they take a LOOONG time! For that,
remember the talents tree is maleable, is not meant as a permanent thing... the buffs only take out time
as you put the Construction/Research/Troop Training to start I does not affect things already in
progress. So when you have T3s to train, you can change your talents and put everything on training.
When your gonna start a construction or research, change again

Enjoy, you can attack whole alliances effectively now, don't forget to switch talents in each parts
accordingly for better use, as stated below!
