II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (10 points) JC


In this part, the III. Industry Analysis, IV. Company Description, V. Production
Plan, VI. Operations and Development Plan, VII. Marketing Plan, VIII.
Management Team and IX. Assessment Risk and X. Financial Plan must be
summarized in 3-4 paragraphs. This must be 1-2 pages only.

III. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS (15 points) BLESSY


a. Future Outlook and Trends – Talk about the industry in general. For
example, the manufacturing industry in Davao City must be explained in
terms of the number of companies, the amount of pesos it contributes to the
Philippine economy, etc. Also, talk about potential growth of the entire
industry. This is a research-based aspect of the Industry Analysis.
Attach in the Appendix of Supporting Documents the source and
additional references.
b. Analysis of Competitors – Put here the Prelims ET2: 7PS of 3
Competitors (but improve it)
c. Market Segmentation – Provide here in paragraph form and in illustration
the segmentation tree and how you plan to segment your potential
customers.
d. Industry and Market Forecast – Provide sources such as clippings from
articles, etc. as basis or proof in Market Forecast

IV. COMPANY DESCRIPTION (5 points) DICH


a. Product/Service – Explain what type of product/service your company
offers. Food, beverage, services, events organizing, etc.
b. Size of the Business – Put here the form of legal organization your
business wants to register: sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation.
Explain to us why you chose that legal organization.
c. Office Equipment and Personnel – Explain here the equipment to be used
in the business (chairs, tables, fax machine, etc.) and the personnel
d. Background of Entrepreneurs – Show the basic information and
educational background of the student-entrepreneur.

V. PRODUCTION/SERVICE PLAN (5 points) NAT


a. Physical Plant – If your company is a service oriented business
organization, provide here the Floor Plan of your office instead.
b. Machinery and Equipment – List ALL the equipment and machinery you
have to buy and the respective cost, model, and place of purchase.
c. Names of Suppliers – List all the suppliers of ALL your equipment,
machinery, goods, supplies and other necessary items for the operations of
your business.

VI. OPERATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN (10 points) NAT


a. Description of the company’s operation – The business location,
production, inventory and who the suppliers are must be stated in this part.
b. Flow of orders for goods and/or services – Put here the Flowchart that
you did during Midterms. Make two flowcharts: From suppliers to your
company, and from your company to the customers.
c. Technology Utilization – State here what state-of-the-art equipment will
your company use. This is important so that the investors will know how you
can gain competitive advantage against your competitors.

VII. MARKETING PLAN (10 points) JC


a. Pricing – State the Pricing Strategy that you will employ. Also, show to us
how you will come up with the selling price of each product line. Put here a
similar work like that of ET1: Pricing.
b. Distribution – State here whether or not you will franchise your business
to others, or you will have a retailer or distributor. If so, mention the
distribution channels here.
c. Promotion -Provide here a thorough explanation as to where will the
company course through its promotions. Social media, print ads, billboards,
etc.

VIII. MANAGEMENT TEAM (15 points) BLESSY


a. Description of the management team – Put here the Job Description,
Job Specification and Compensation Package (You may use your ET
#2 – Midterm but improve it) of the management team.
b. Organization Plan – Forms of Legal Organization, Identification of
Partners and Shareholders and Authority of Principals (Who the managers
are and who are authorized to make transactions in behalf of the company)
must be placed here.
c. Plans for Recruiting and Training Employees – In this part, state in
paragraph form how you will recruit your employees. Also, mention what
training programs will you provide.

IX. ASSESSMENT OF RISK (10 points) DICH


a. Evaluate weaknesses of the business – List all the weaknesses that your
business might encounter. List it down or make a tabular form about it.
b. Provide the contingency plan of each weakness – List your responses to
each weakness. If you made a tabular form about the weaknesses, place
the resolve or actions per weakness in the 2nd column.
c. New technologies available. – This refers to all the business opportunities,
especially technology, methodology or processes that are available and
state-of-the-art. Mention in this portion whether or not you will make use of
it and if so, what projected benefits will it give to your company. If you won’t
use the available technology or methodology, mention the downside risks in
it in the ‘evaluation of weaknesses’ portion.
