Montreal Canadiens Continuing “Legend Series” Giveaways Sponsored by Tim Horton’s

The Montreal Canadiens are teaming up with Tim Horton’s as a part of their “Legend

Series” bobblehead giveaway at four home games at Bell Centre during the 2019-2020 season.

The bobbleheads will feature Maurice Richard, Patrick Roy, Larry Robinson and Guy Lafleur.

Bobbleheads are given to the first 7,500 fans each day of the giveaway with Maurice

Richard’s bobblehead kicking off the “Legends Series” on Sunday, Oct. 20 when the Canadiens

host the Edmonton Oilers. Richard, also known as “Rocket,” was the first in the NHL to score 50

goals in a season and 500 career goals during his 18-season career with the Canadiens.

The Legend Series continues with the 1995 Hockey Hall of Famer Larry Robinson

bobblehead giveaway on Tuesday, Dec. 17 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Bobbleheads of Guy Lafleur, the first player to score 50 goals and 100 points in six

straight seasons and five-time Stanley Cup Champion, will be given away Friday, Feb. 14

against the Ottawa Senators.

The bobbleheads are action poses of the players except for Patrick Roy who is portrayed

as Superman. Roy’s bobblehead will be given away when the Canadiens host the Devils

Thursday, March 26. Roy, a goaltender for the Canadiens for 11 years, won two Stanley Cups

with the Canadiens and won the Conn Smythe Trophy three times, the first player to win it for

two teams in two different decades.

The “Legend Series” started in the 2018-2019 season with bobbleheads of Jacques Plante

and Henri Richard given away.
