Alpha Delta Pi Presents Annual Beauty and the Greek Competition November 6

Selinsgrove, PA – The Gamma Omicron chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Susquehanna University


will host its annual Beauty and the Greek philanthropy event on Tues., Nov. 6 in Weber
Chapel. The beauty pageant style event is open to the public.
Beauty and the Greek benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities, specifically the
Ronald McDonald House in Danville, PA. Tickets are $5 prior to the event and $8 at the
door. Tickets can be purchased from any Alpha Delta Pi sister or at their table in Lower
Degenstein Campus Center weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The competition will feature a member from each Greek organization at
Susquehanna. Teams will consist of one male Greek representative and one female Greek
representative who will compete to earn the title of “Beauty” and “The Greek”. Each team
will compete in a talent portion, skit portion and question and answer portion.
The teams will be judged by Dean Christie Kracker, Dean of Student Life at
Susquehanna University, judge and Susquehanna professor Judge John Robinson and Roy
Toumisto, a representative from the Danville Ronald McDonald House. In addition to the
competition, there will also be raffle tickets for attendees to purchase.
The Gamma Omicron chapter holds two philanthropy events each year including
Beauty and the Greek and Diamond Week in March. All events hosted by Alpha Delta Pi
benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities which gives families a place to stay while
their child is in the hospital.
Alpha Delta Pi has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities for 40
years and has donated over 15 million dollars since then.
