THEOLOGICAL REFLECTION

Who celebrates the liturgy? I will define first the liturgy. So, what is
liturgy? Liturgy is a form or formulary according to which public religious
worship, especially Christian worship is conducted. The liturgy is a
celebration of all the faithful. In other words, it is the celebration of our life
with Christ and it is the celebration of meeting Christ.

Then we go back to the first question, who celebrates the liturgy? The
one who celebrates the liturgy is Priest. The answer given by Catechism of the
Catholic Church is very clear. It is the whole community, the boy of Christ
united with its head that celebrates. For me, when there is an occasion in my
life like birthday party I am very excited because I have the opportunity to
invite my classmates and friends. Sometimes we became busy when preparing
because we want this occasion become memorable and success. When the
celebration is ongoing we are fully awake to entertain them because we want
our visitors enjoy the party. Also, we should thank them for coming and when
the party is over we should send them a happiness. In the church, I often go to
church twice or thrice a month. Sometimes when I’m in the church I'm not
listening to the priest because sometimes it's boring to hear. Also, I do not
respond when the priest greet us because i feel sleepy sometimes. I feel sleepy
when the homily is started I don't know the reason why. Sometimes I do not
sing with the choir because I didn't know the lyrics. At the end of the mass I
barely smile to my adjoining and also i feel the presence of God, the father.

How to celebrate the liturgy? The church celebrates the liturgy by

employing signs and symbols. For me, we have a thousand and one ways of
expressing our feelings. For example a daughter, a daughter is a girl or a
woman in relation to her parents. My responsibility of being a daughter is to
help my mother to clean in the house and also my responsibility of being a
daughter is to become success someday. They want me to have a diploma
someday. I love them both. In church, or in relationship with God, we worship
God and we express our love for God using signs and symbols to communicate
with others, through language and actions. When we pray to him, we make
sign and symbols to convey God with our mind and heart. God is our savior
because he is the father of all. He is the one who guide us and he is always
there for us no matter what happen.

When to celebrate the Liturgy? We celebrate the liturgy every Sunday.

Everyone wants to come in church because they want to feel the presence of
God. For me, we mark so many occasions in our calendar like birthday,
monthsary and anniversary.
Why should we celebrate this? Because we want this occasion to be
memorable. We celebrate these occasions with much importance. In church,
the church has own calendar that we follow faithfully. Every Sunday we must
go to church to praise and glorify God. Why should we go to church every
Sunday? We go to church every Sunday because we want to feel the presence
of God. Where to celebrate the liturgy? Actually we celebrate the liturgy in the
church. We cannot say that all religious are equal and same. Just like me I'm
not catholic but I only praise God. There are many churches just like INC,
Catholic, Born Again and etc. We INC have our own churches and chapels. Just
like INC they are the groups who build temples and centers for fellowship.
Even though we are INC we just only praise God, the father of all. INC and
Catholic they are not same in size and shape but they are symbolic of Christian
Faith. I can say that, if you are a catholic and non-Catholic we must only praise
God. We are not the same but we only praise God, the father.
