The Mechanics (Word Game)

Divide the players into groups. The goal of the game is to guess the song, but with every level, there is a
corresponding “twist”.

The first player will be the one to perform the song, to be guessed by the rest of their teammates. They
start by picking a paper with the song title and the twists. The performer may choose to change the song
if they don’t know it. They cannot pass a song once the performer starts the act. Only when they get the
song right, that is when the second player takes the turn to be the performer, and the previous
performer will now join the rest of the team to guess. The game is best of three series. Every level is 2-3
minutes, the team with the most points in that level wins, and the loser overall takes the consequence.

There are two difficulties of songs to be guessed, an easy song, and a hard song. An easy song is worth 1
point, and a hard song is worth 2 points.

Easy song – The performer must sing the song while producing the sound of its corresponding
animal/object. The teammates must guess the song title, and sound.

Hard song – The performer must sing the song while producing the sound of its corresponding
animal/object, and performing the movement/verb word. The teammates must guess the song title, the
sound, and the movement.
