ALPHABET S WRIT ING RE LAY

This a great game for kids of grades 1&2

HOW TO PLAY

Divide and line up the students into two teams. Divide the board
into two halves and have one student from each team run to the
board, write 'A', then run to the back of the line. The next student
writes 'B', etc. The first team to finish wins.
Note that the students should hop like a frog to the board and
once written the word run back.
CHARADES

Charades is a game of pantomimes: you have to "act out" a

phrase without speaking, while the other members of your team try
to guess what the phrase is. The objective is for your team to guess
the phrase as quickly as possible
HOW TO PLAY

Divide and line up the class into two teams. The first student
from each team comes to the front. The teacher whispers a word or

There will be hoops placed on the floor

The students should hop in them and reach the whiteboard.

Once they have written the word they have to hop back to the back of the
class

as many words as you require related to the topic in the form of a
relay race. Each team wins one point for each correct word.
HOW TO PLAY

Time one minute

The team which has the most number of words written on the board wins

The team which uses the board neatly gets awarded an extra point
