5 representatives from each block will be chosen to play (the rest of the block may opt to help their 5 representatives) The 5 representatives will be playing in succession and repetition of players will not be permitted The game master will flip a coin to determine which team will pick the first strip of paper from the iJar The iJar contains strips of papers each with a category (artist, genre, etc) which will determine the songs the competing blocks will sing A round of rock-paper-scissors will determine which block will sing a song, from the category, first The competing blocks will be given 5 seconds to think of a song before starting A microphone will be used to signify whose turn it is to sing (teams will take turns holding the microphone) HOW TO WIN If a block runs out of songs to sing, the other block wins When time runs out and both teams still have songs in mind, then the game master will count the facilitators tally of songs from each block and whoever gets the higher score wins If one team repeats a song then they will be disqualified and the opposing team wins In the event of a tie, each block will choose a representative to compete in a game of longest breath SCORING SYSTEM 1 song = 1 point Repetition of songs is not allowed (repetition will make the opposing team winner by default) Featured artists count (e.g. the artist drawn is Charlie Puth and they sing See You Again, even if Whiz Khalifa is the main artist then the song will still be considered) TIME FRAME 1 minute to explain game mechanics and rules 2 minutes to play 30 seconds to set-up for the next set of players Total: 3.5 minutes MATERIALS (GAME) Timer Paper Jar Coin Microphone MATERIALS (BOOTH) Speakers Illustration board Printed booth logo on tarpaulin Tape Scissors
