Aprivacy policy is a form where one consents’ to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and use of
their personal information such as name, phone number by a service in this case twitter. This gives a
service the right to collect, store and control that information once one concurs with the policy.One
can and is still in control and is responsible for posting and sharing of their private information or
content through this service.

Reading a privacy policy can be mind-blogging given the heavy worded complex jargon. Despite this, it
is important that before you click that cool looking and good reading “sounds good” button to agree to
twitter’s new updated privacy policy, you get to know and review what you are really agreeing to.
Below is a brief summary and break down of some of the takeways from that policy effective June
18th 2017.
