A. Course Objectives
At the end of the program, students will be able to:

1. Recognize basic traditional office management practices, emerging management trends, administrative management
resource areas, and restructured office systems and training needs.
2. Practice leadership and communication skills in business environments, including groups, teams and conflict resolution.
3. Manage human resources in the office including staffing, on-the-job employee practices, workforce improvement,

H. Classroom Policies Expectations from Student:
Students are required to come prepared in this course, advance reading is necessary. She/he is expected to participate
actively in the discussions and expected to comply all the necessary requirements in this course.
Academic Dishonesty:
Students should be academically honest. Any act of dishonesty such as cheating or plagiarism, lying and other forms of
unethical behavior will not be tolerated and will received an F or failure in this course. Plagiarism refers to the use of books,
notes or other intellectual property without giving proper attribution to its author, or representing the work of another person
as one's own; Cheating refers to securing help in a test, copying tests, assignments, reports or projects, collaborating with other
students during the examination or in preparing academic work, and signing another student's name on the attendance sheet.
Policy on Absences:
Students are required to observe 100% attendance in the class. Request for excused absences must be presented upon
reporting back to class. Special examinations will only be allowed in special cases like prolonged illness.
Disability Accommodation:
Persons with physical/learning disabilities are requested to see the instructor within the first two weeks of the semester. A
doable strategy is designed by both the instructor and the student throughout the semester. Have an appointment with the
instructor for his/her consultation time.
Religious Accommodation:
In the academic work in the class, everybody is required to refrain from conflicts with student's religious practices and/or
observances. For an exemption, the student may request reasonable accommodations. This request must be in writing, and
the instructor will review the request and this may even seek for assistance from the Dean.
Policies on Cellphones, Uniform and Reporting:
 Cellphones should be turned into silent mode while inside the class.
 Students are required to wear their uniforms as scheduled by the university.
Reporting should only consume 20 minutes including the preparation time of the reporters. Turn off all appliances and arrange
all the chairs and tables before leaving the classroom. NO HAND-OUTS, NO REPORT Policy.
