Adapter
Attachment to the base edge which holds and positions the tip.
Adapter - Qty

Adapter Bolts

Adapter Cover
Pin-on protection that surrounds the adapter on the Modulok Bucket System and provides extra
wear material.
Adapter Family
The ‘family’ of which the adapter is associated with. This association is used to match adapters
with other components for compatibility. Possible values: J, V, C, Series 23.
Adapter Location
Directional reference to where the adapter will be used. Possible Values: Center, Left-Hand, Right-
Hand, Corner and Intermediate.
Adapter Nose
Weld-on replacement for a portion of a broken adapter.
Adapter Nuts
Nut used in association with bolt for attachment of adapter.
Adapter Type
Describes in what manner the adapter is attached to the base edge. Possible Values: Bolt-on,
Bottom-Strap, Flushmount, ARM, HD ARM, Heavy Duty, Intermediate, Size-up, Two-Strap, Weld-
on, 1-Bolt, 2-Bolt (and any combination thereof).
Adapter Washers
Washer used to attached adapter to base edge.
Application

ARM Indicator
Indicator of whether the adapter is composed of abrasion resistant materials.
Assembly - Block
Used in association with the flighting, bar, bit and holder for the assembly on the combi rotor.

Assembly - Quantity
The number of assemblies used on the combi rotor.
Assembly Type
Type of paving products assembly. Possible values: Ring, Rotor.
Auger
A component used in association with asphalt paving products.
Auger Location
The location of the auger as it relates to the asphalt paver. Possible values: Left-Hand, Right-Hand.
Auger Quantity
The quantity of augers needed based on the model of the apshalt paver.
Auger Washer
Washers used in conjunction with the attachment of augers to paving products.
Base Edge
Piece which is welded to the bottom leading bucket edge, and is designed to accept adapters or
cutting edges.
Base Plate
The wear plate from the Mechanically Attached Wear Plate System slides onto this weld-on type
base plate.
Bit Holder
Holds the cutter bit for usage in the paving product line.
Blade
Used for attachment to various paving products and compactors, inclusive of windrow elevator
blades.
Blade Bolt
Bolt used to attach the cutting edge to the blade.
Blade Capscrew
Capscrew used to attach the cutting edge to the blade.
Blade Model
One of a variety of paving products and compactor blades available.
Blade Note
A numeric cross-reference of detailed information or instructions which can be obtained from the
NOTES database.
Blade Nut
Nut used to attach the cutting edge to the blade.
Blade - Quantity
Number of blades required for attachment to the paving product.
Blade Washer

lines.
Bolt - Quantity
Number of bolts needed for attachment purposes.
Bolt Description
A long description of the type and size of bolt needed/used for attachment of motor grader curved
edges.
Possible values: 16mm Bolts Edge P/N - High Carbon OR DH-2, 19mm Bolts Edge P/N - High
Carbon or DH2
Bolt Diameter
Diameter of the bolt used in conjunction with attachment of the cutting edge. Stated in millimeters.
Bolt Size
Size of the bolt used for attachment of end bits, grader bits, and cutting edges. Stated in
millimeters.
Boom
Type of boom associated with the crusher model (demolition tool) and hammer models. Possible
values: Reach, Mass, GP, VA, Offset, Standard.
Boom Compatability
Type of boom the stick will fit on. Possible values: Reach, Mass Excavation, or Variable Geometry.
Boom Type
Type of boom associated with the shear model.
Possible values: Stick Mounted/Reach Boom AND Reach Boom/Mounted.
Bowl Assembly
The internal (rounded portion) of the mult-purpose type buckets and various shovels.
Bucket Arrangement
The complete bucket along with additional attachments needed to operate properly on individual
machines.
Bucket Assembly
Consists of the individual piece parts and subassemblies that are welded together, including the
bucket, base edge, corners, adapters, wear strips, etc.
Bucket-Bearing Assembly
Consists of the individual piece parts and subassemblies that are welded together, including the
bucket, base edge, corners, adapters, wear strips, etc.
Bucket Corner
Weld on piece that is perpendicular to the base edge, and protects the bucket corner as viewed from
the operator's position.
Bucket Description
Description of the bucket usage. Values are: High Density, Rock, High Abrasion, Low Density,
Coal, General Purpose, High Density Special, and Abrasion.
Bucket Group
Consists of the bucket assembly and the adjuster group.
Bucket Type
Describes the bucket. Usually related to the use of the bucket. Trenching, Rock, Heavy Duty Rock,
General Purpose, Excavating, etc.
Bucket Width
Measurement of the bucket taken from the left-most point to the right-most point across the
opening.
Capscrew
Capscrew used to attach elevator blade.
Capscrew - Quantity
Number of capscrews used to attach elevator blade
C-Clamp Assembly
C-shaped piece used with the wedge to attach adapter on Mechanically Attached adapter System.
Chopper Bolt
Bolt used to attached the chopper blade to the Rotor Assembly.
Chopper- U-Bolt
Type of bolt used to attach the chopper blade to the Rotor Assembly.
Chopper - Washer
Washer used in conjunction with the bolts for attachment of the chopper blade.
Cleaner Bar
Assembly used in association with earthmoving and landfill compactor products.
Cocoa Mat
Mat designed to keep the compactor tire wet so it does not pick up the asphalt.
Compactor Components
A component used in the assembly of the paving product compactor lines like soil, asphalt and
pneumatic tire. Some samples of components would be pads, drum scrapers blades, tire scrapers,
cocoa mats, bolts, nuts, and washers.
Compactor Model
The 5 or 6 digit model number associated with compactor type. Models prefix with CB-, CP- or
PS-.
Compactor - Pin
Used in association with a spring assembly and snap ring for attachment of compactor feet.
Compactor Type
Long description of the compactor type available:
Possible values: Asphalt (Double Drum), Soil (Padded Drum), Soil (Smooth Drum), Pheumatic Tire
Component Width
The width of the excavator bucket components. Listed in millimeters.
Compression Retainer
Retainer used in association with the Mechanically Attached Wear Plate System.
Corner - Quantity
Number of corners needed for a specific bucket assembly.
Coupler
Attachment that mates to the adapter and accepts the tip.
Coupler - Quantity
Number of couplers required for mating to the adapter.
Crescent Pin
Used for attachment of lip protection system shroud to underground or surface buckets.
Crescent Retainer
Used for attachment of lip protection system shroud to underground or surface buckets.
Curved Edge
A specialized cutting edge used with the motor grader product line.
Cutting Edge
A flat piece of steel with a beveled lip which attaches to the base edge providing protection of the
bucket.
Cutting Width
The cutting width of the paving product model used to determine the proper cutter bit useage.
Demolition Tool
The part number of the demolition tool listing used for referencing of recommended parts and
quantities.
Diameter - Bottom
The bottom diameter of the hammer tool measured in millimeters.
Diameter - Top
The top diameter of the hammer tool measured in millimeters.
Digging Conditions
The recommended digging condition use for excavator bucket sidecutters.
Possible values: Any, Average, Moderate, Tough.
Dimensions, W-H-T
The dimension data associated with Motor Grader Moldboard Repair Plates, reflected in
millimeters.
Dozer Assembly
The assembly used in conjunction with multipurpose buckets within the loader product line.
Drill Brand
The description of the cross-reference competitive drill brand. Possible values: Brunner & Lay,
Secoroc, Sandvik, Furukawa, Ingersoll-Rand, Rockmore, Diabit, Saxum.
Drill Coupling
Used in conjunction with the drill steel (rod) for connection of the bit to the drill tool.
Drill Rod
Drill steel used in conjunction with attachment of the bits to the drill.
Drill Size
The drill string size of associated drill tools. Possible values: 38mm, 45mm, 51mm.
Drum Type
The description of the drum type used in paving product compactors. Possible values: Double,
Padded, Smooth.

Edge
An attachment to the bucket systems to provide better protection and longer wear.
Edge - Base
The base measurement (millimeters) of the weld-on half-arrow edges in association with the wear
protection system products.
Edge Cover
Angled material used on the bucket of the Modulok System to protect the base edge between the
adapters.
Edge - Height
The height measurement (millimeters) of the weld-on half-arrow edges in association with the wear
protection system products.
Edge - Length
The length measurement (millimeters) of the weld-on half-arrow edges in association with the wear
protection system products.
Edge Location
The location for edge attachment. Possible values: Center, End, LH-Center, LH-End, RH-Center,
RH-End.
Edge Protector
Edge - Quantity
The number of edges needed for attachment to the bucket system.
Edge - Thickness
The thickness measurement (millimeters) of the weld-on half-arrow edges in association with the
wear protection system products.
Edge Type

End Bit

The model types of the hammers. Possible values: Cat - Balderson.
Hammer Tool
The part number of the hammer tool assembly which can be attached to numerous Cat and non-cat
products
Hardware Application
A descriptive used to provide a cross reference of which motor grader models use which bolt, nut
and washer part.
Hardware - Bolt
The bolts used for attachment of various assemblies/components. Used in listings involving
bulldozers, excavators, and motor graders.
Hardware - Nut
The nuts used for attachment of various assemblies/components. Used in listing involving
bulldozers, excavators, and motor graders.
Hardware - Size
The size of the bolt, nut or washer necessary for attachment of motor grader cutting edges.
Hardware - Washer
The washers used for attachment of various assemblies/components. Used in listings involving
bulldozers, excavators, and motor graders.
Hole Spacing
Dependent on the type of cutting edge system, dimensional data of spacing between bolt holes. It
can denote either the measurement between bolt holes OR the measurement from the center of
space between a pair of bolt holes.
Hopper Flashing
A protective component attached to the asphalt paver at road level.
Length
A generic term used in reference to the length of numerous components within the product lines.
Length - Working
The working length of the hydraulic hammer tool component.
Lift Configuration
The configuration of the bucket lift as associated tih Heavy Duty Quarry system.
Possible values: Standard and High.
Linkage Indicator
Used in association with the stick meters length for hammers. It denotes the linkage/bucket family
information for compatability of excavator attachment. Possible values: B,C,D,E,F,G,H,J,S.
Lip Assembly
The assembly used in conjunction with the underground mining lips system. Includes lugs,
shrouds, pins, retainers, and heels.
Lip - Width
The measurement (millimeters) of the underground mining base edge outside (end to end).
Locknut
Used for attachment of pavemaster screed.
Locknut - Quantity
Number of locknuts required for attachment of screed.
Lug - Quantity
Number of lugs attached to the edge protector.
Lug - Weight
Weight of the lug used for welding to the base edge.
Machine Model
Model of machine which the component/assembly is associated and/or used with.
Model/Bucket Family
Classification for the bucket linkage. All buckets in a family have the same linkage and fit the same
sticks.
Model Usage
The machine models which can use small and/or large ripper shanks.
Moldboard Radius
The radius of the motorgrader moldboard.
Mounting Block
Used in conjunction with paving products bit holders for mounting to the rotor assemblies.
Nose Bar
A bar used in association with the wear plate on the paving product screeds.
Number of Bits
Number of cutter bits required for model and cutting width.
Number of Holes
Number of bolt holes in the associated component, for example: edges.
Number of Teeth
The number of teeth used in conjunction with the adapter components. Used in excavator, loader

Nut
Nut used for attachment of varied components to the assembly or product. Generic use in many
product listings.
Nut - Quantity
Number of nuts needed for attachment of component.
Nut Type
Type of nut used in the attachment of screed extensions. Possible values: Full or Adjusting.
Pin - Flex
Pin used for MAA tip attachment purposes.
Plate
The wear plate used in the VIP screed extension assembly in the paving product line.
Plate - Quantity
The number of plates used in the VIP screed extension assembly.
Plate Assembly
The bottom screed plate assembly used on the pavemaster screed product line.
Plate - Bolt
The bolts used to attach the plate assembly to the screed.
Plate - Nut
The nuts used to attach the plate assembly to the screed.
Plate - Washer
The washers used for attachment of the plate to the screed extension.
Plus-Tip
Compactor tip designed specifically for landfill applications. Welds to the wheel and is fashioned
in the shape of a plus sign.
Plus-Tip - Quantity
Number of tips used for attachment to the compactor.
Plus-Tip - Type
Type of tip needed for the compactor model. Possible values: Weld-on, Heavy Duty, Standard, and
‘N’.
Radius Capability
States the minimum radius capability for installation of the mechanically attached wear plate
system.
Rated Capacity
The capacity of the excavator bucket stated in cubic meters.
Ripper Shank
As a major GET component of a ripper, the shank holds the adapter and tip.
Ripper - Size
Possible ripper model sizes - small or large.
Rotor Assembly
The components used for assembly of the paving products combi-rotor. Components include:
block, bar, flighting, and holder.
Rotor - Diameter
The diameter of the rotor assembly of the soil stabilizer assemblies.
Rotor Holder
Holds the cutter bit for attachment to the rotor.
Rotor Tool
The L-shaped tool (blades) used in the soil stabilizer rotor systems.
Rotor Type
The types of rotor assemblies available. Possible values: PR-75, PR-450, PM-565, PR-750, PR-
1000, RR250.
Rows of Holes
Denotes the number of rows of holes of the scraper cutting edges.
Screed Extension
Attached to the screed as an extender. Used in the asphalt paver products.
Screed Length
Length of the screed stated in millimeters.
Screed Model
The models of paving screeds available. Possible values: VIP, 816B, 1020B, 1020WB, and
Pavemaster.
Segment
Component located between tips to protect the base edge.
Segment - Quantity
Number of segments used in association with protection of the base edge.
Segment - Bolts
Bolts used for attachment of the segment to the base edge.
Segment Location
The location the segment will be attached to the base edge. Possible values: Center, Left-Hand,
Right-Hand
Segment - Nuts
Nuts used for attachment of the segment to the base edge.
Segment - Shape/Type
The one character denotation of the bolt-on edge segment shape.
Possible values: Angled - Type 1, Squared - Type 2.
Segment Size
The size of the loader bolt-on segments. Possible values: 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, 60mm,
75mm.
Segment - Type
Type of segment used for protection of the base edge. Possible values: Bolt-on - Half-Arrow, Bolt-
on - Heavy Duty, Bolt-on - Standard.
Series
The ‘series’ of which the mechanically attached wear plate system is associated with. Possible
values: 20 Series, 30 Series, 40 Series, 50 Series, and Heavy Duty.
Serial Number
Serial number of the prime product associated with the assembly/component.
Shank Type
The two digit code for types of shanks. Possible values: S (Straight), C (Curved), H (Heavy Duty).
Shears - Tool
Scrap/Demo tool used as an attachment to excavators.
Shell Assembly
Assembly containing one side of the clam, the edge and adapters for clamshell buckets.
Shim
Used to provide a flat surface when a screed’s wear plate has become warped. Available in various
thickness
Shim - Quantity
Number of shim to be used for attachment to the screed plate.
Shim Type
Various thickness of shims available for attachment to the wear plate. Possible values: 0.010 in.,
0.020 in, and 16 Ga.
Shroud
Used with each other or between bucket teeth to create a continuous edge.
Shroud - Quantity
The number of shrouds used for attachment to the mining buckets.
Shroud Heel
Used for wear protection of the underground mining bucket heels.
Shroud Location
The location where the shroud will be mounted the the mining bucket. Possible values: LH, RH.
Shroud Type
The styles of shrouds available.. Possible values: Corner, Transition, and Straight.
Shroud - Weight
The weight (kg) of the mining equipment shroud.
Sidebar
Leading edge of a bucket, extending from the base edge to the top of the bucket.
Sidebar - Quantity
Number of sidebard used on the leading edge of the bucket.
Sidebar Compatability
The style of the bucket for which the sidebar is compatible. References are made in the excavator,
shovels, and loaders.
Sidebar Protector
Pin-on shroud attached to the leading edge of the bucket sidebar to help reduce bucket wear.
Sidecutter - Bolts
Used for attachment of the sidecutter to the bucket assembly.
Sidecutter Compatability
Sidecutter
Attachment designed to protect the bucket corner.
Sidecutter - Quantity
Number of sidecutters required for the type of bucket assembly.
Sidecutter - Nuts
Used for attachment of the sidecutter to the bucket assembly.
Sidecutter Type
The various types of sidecutter available for bucket protection. Possible values: Blade, Left, Right,
Strikeoff
Sidecutter - Washer
Washer used for attachment of the sidecutter to the bucket assembly location.
Spacer
A washer-like component used in between the spacer and nose bar of the screed assembly.
Spacer - Quantity
The number of spacers needed within the screed assembly.
Spacer Bar
Used between the wear plate and nose bar of the asphalt paver screed assemblies.
Spacer Location
Location for which the spacer will be used on the screed assembly. Possible values: RH, LH.
Spacer Type
Type of spacer needed for the screed assembly. Possible values: Main Trailing Edge, Extender
Nose Bar.
Spade Angle
The angle of the bucket in relationship to determining a proper fit of the segment. Stated in
degrees.
Spade Length
The measurement (millimeters) of the underground mining base edge inner length (end to end).
Spring Retainer
Part of the retention system used for underground mining shroud attachment. Place on both side of
the lug to keep the crescent retainer in place.
Stick
Component located between the boom and bucket for attachment purpose of tools, etc.
Stick - Length
Length from pin center to pin center of the stick which is located between the boom and the
bucket of an excavator.
Stick Nomenclature
Alpha-numeric code that identifies the stick type (reach or mass excavation), length (meters),
and linkage family (B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, or S). ie: R4.8F = reach stick, 4.8M length, F linkage.
Stick Range
The length range of the stick. This information is needed so as to know which demo/scrap tool can
be attached to the excavator (the longer the stick, the smaller the tool must be).
Stud
Component used in conjunction with the screed and screed extension assembly for attachment
purposes.
Stud - Quantity
Number of stud needed for screed attachment purposes.
Stud Type
Type of stud used based on the screed model. Possible values: Plate Leading Edge, Plate Trailing
Edge, and Nose Bar.
Thickness
Thickness of the component. A generic term used in association with many assemblies/components
throughout the PSK.
Tips
Tips - Quantity
Number of tips necessary based on adapters used within the assembly/component.
Tips - Style/Size
A reference made in the Heavy Duty Quarry Buckets denoting the style/size of the tips.
Possible values: J450, J550.
Tips Type
Type of tip necessary. Based on the component/assembly it will be used in conjunction with.
Possible values: Ripper Pocket, Abrasion, Blade, General Purpose - Taper Lock Tip, General
Purpose-ARM, Heavy Duty Abrasion, Heavy Duty Long, Heavy Duty Long Life, Long, Long
Abrasion, Penetration, Penetration - Long Life, Rock, Sharp, Sharp - Center, Sharp - Corner, Sharp -
Twin, Short, Standard, Upsize, Utility, and Wide.
Tooth
Used as an attachment to the bucket systems for digging purposes. Various grades available
according to needs of the job.
Tooth - Quantity
Number of teeth attached to the bucket system.
Tooth Edge
The edge used in conjunction with the elevating scraper intregrated tooth system.
Tooth Position
The position in which the one-piece slag tooth can be used for the loader buckets. Possible values:
All, Center.
Tooth - Pin
Pin used with retainer for attachment of tooth to excavator bucket.
Tooth - Retainer
The retainer used for attachment of teeth to the excavator bucket.
Tooth - Type
Type of teeth used on the bucket system. Possible values: Bolt-on, Weld-on.
Traction - Tips
Weld-on tip used on landfill compactors where maximum traction is required.
Type of GET
The ground engaging tool system associated with the 5000 Series Shovel.
Unitooth
A one piece tip and adapter that bolts to the bucket.
Unitooth - Quantity
Number of unitooth components to be attached to the bucket.
Unitooth - Bolt
Used for attachment of the unitooth to the bucket.
Unitooth Location
The location in which the unitooth will be attached to the bucket. Possible values: Center, Corner.
Unitooth - Nut
Used for attachment of the unitooth to the bucket.
Washer
Used in conjunction with the bolt and nut to attach corresponding assembly/component.
Washer - Quantity
Number of washers needed for attachment of assembly/component.
Wear Bar
Provide additional Dozer blade protection in highly abrasive applications.

needed.
Wear Plate
Flat material bolted or welded to a bucket to help reduce wear.
Wedge
Used with the C-clamp assembly to retain the adapter on the Mechanically Attached adapter
System.
Wedge - Quantity
The quantity needed to retain the adapter on the Mechinally Attached adapter System.
Wedge Type
The various types that can be used on the product. Possible values: Standard, Oversize Medium,
and Oversize Large.
Weight
The stated weight of the component. Stated in both pounds and grams. Associated with various
products.
Weight - Carrier
The recommended carrier weight for the associated Hammer Model. Stated in kilograms.
Where-Used - Machine
The excavator model in which the pulverizer and crusher are used.
Width
Width-1
Dozer and loader corner guard system end bit standard width stated in millimeters.
Width-2
Dozer and corner guard system end bit extended width stated in millimeters.
Width - Trench
The width of a base edge when it is attached to a bucket, it is usually wider than the outside sidebar
width.
