RESEARCH ACTIVITY no. 2

DATA COLLECTION EXERCISE (Interview)
Objectives:

At the end of the activity, the students will be able to:

a. discuss the use of research method in understanding an advocacy;

b. appreciate the importance of research method through communication; and
c. apply a data collecting tool through an interview.

General Instructions:

1. The students will be tasked to conduct an interview regarding the " Mind the
now, Mindanao: The Atenean Perspective" advocacy of the Pulsong Atenista.
2. Each student must choose one respondent to be interviewed.
3. They must be able to make transcription and translation of the responses.
4. The output shall be submitted on Friday, August 9, 2019.
5. The output must be written in a 1 whole sheet of paper.
6. The teacher shall keep the output for future use in Chapter 4 discussion.
7. The following questions shall be asked:

RESEARCH TOPIC: LUMAD CULTURE APPRECIATION FOR APPROPRIATION

Research Questions:

1. What are the practices of the students in Ateneo towards appreciation of the
Lumad culture?

2. How do the students help in promoting Lumad culture appreciation in Ateneo

de Davao University?

3. What are the suggestions of the students to strengthen the programs regarding
Lumad appreciation?
