CEO: Aslam o Alaikum and Good morning, ladies and gentleman. I am glad to welcome all
board members to the meeting of the SafPakistan Company. Thank you, thank you for
being present in this meeting. Can we call this meeting to order?

CEO: Are there any apologies for absence for today’s meeting?
Secretary: No, there are no apologies all board members are present.
CEO: Thank You, we proceed further regarding the meeting. We all are here for the launch
and production of our new product which is ‘Biodegradable products’. We have been
working hard over the past few months to be able to get to where we are today and be
ready to move forward with this exciting new project.

Now I introduce our members of the meeting Mr. Jawad ul Hassan as Field Expert,
Mr. Muhammad Mursaleen as Marketing Manager, Mr. Muhammad Asim as Finance
Manager and me Nimra Asif as CEO of the company.

We proceed further regarding the main agenda of meeting. So our field expert Mr.
Jawad ul Hassan tells us about company progress on our new project which is
‘Production of Biodegradable Products’ and where are we know?

Field Expert: Thank you for your words Mam, yes we make much progress on our project. Our lab
experts and field operators are doing very well. We got a formula through which we
can manufacture economical and reliable biodegradable products which have not only
more advantage on common plastic or polythene products but also other biodegradable
company’s products

CEO: Ok. It seems that we are on our way to launch the product as production will be started
soon. We hope al is good and according to planning.

Field Expert: Yes, Mam. we are making much progress

CEO: Please tell us about what kind of biodegradable products we can produce?
Field Expert: Yes, Mam. we have a range of products which use in place of plastic and polythene
products like biodegradable shopping bags, paper, cutlery, straws, tableware products

CEO: On what grounds we can say that our product is more beneficial than traditionally use
ones?

Field Expert: Our product instead of economical also environmental friendly and causing no
pollution. It has ability to decompose by microorganisms. Moreover, they can
increase soil fertility when absorbed by soil.
CEO: Excellent. Our operational management did very well. We hope so it will bring fruit
for our company.

Field Expert: Inshallah mam. Thanks for the compliment.

CEO: Now after the production of our product we should have acknowledgment of markets
where we can easily sell our products without any hindrance. I will pass the floor over
to our (Marketing Manager, Mr. Muhammad Mursaleen) who will outline a few of our

Marketing Yes, Mam. There are markets under our consideration where we can easily sell and
Manager: purchase. We are also working on the process of getting our trade mark and registration
number of products from government sector that’s almost done in upcoming few days

However, we have some issues regarding marketing of our products as marketers are
more interested in plastic products because our products are new in the markets and
we have to assure people that our product is much better than plastic products.

For this purpose, we are going to advertise our products on large scale on TV, Social
media etc. We have given this task to our workers for this process.

CEO: Ok. Very well. Any other measures taken by your management regarding marketing of
our products?

Marketing Yes, Mam. We recently organize a campaign to stop use of plastic and polythene
Manager: products and there should be ban on these. We also promote use of biodegradable
products and create awareness among people which also come under advertisement

CEO: Our operational and marketing management done great work on this project. Now we
should know that what expenditures company has to bear regarding production and
marketing of our product?

Marketing In this matter finance manager will help us.

Manager:
CEO: Yes, Finance Manager.
Finance Thank you, mam. My team management has done a lot of work on the project. Firstly,
Manager: we evaluate the expenditure on the production of products.

For example, if we want to produce 1000 biodegradable products in one day. We

required 120 tons of natural pant material and fibres.
CEO:
ok, well-done. Go on.
Finance Keep in mind the profit and losses which is main concern of our management we evaluate
Manager: that for good sale and profit we have to reach in such markets where our product is in
demand as some markets mentioned earlier by marketing manager.

Also we have to consider these steps that whether our production is more than our sale if
it so then we are going in loss. So we have to keep the production unit according to demand
as we are launching the product and on the early stage so any loss can be dangerous for
the company and all of us
CEO: what is the criteria for workers and their wages?
Finance We should have specific numbers of labours and workers depends on the demand and
Manager: supply chain. Extra workers will be burden for the company and there should be a
particular supervisor to control each specific group of labours to carry out work efficiently

CEO: ok, I will look and consider on all your suggestions. We will apply these suggestions in
our project after my approval. Thank You. Our next item is date, time and venue for the
