Course Objectives & To learn how to do a preliminary design of the most widely used
Competences to be Acquired wastewater treatment unit operations and how to organize these in
to a functioning treatment system, having studied about the
quantity, quality and the materials used.
¤ Course Chapter 1. Sanitation Sewage, Sewer and Sewerage.
Description/Course Chapter 2. Quantity of Waste Water:-Surface and storm Water
Contents Drainage.
Chapter 3. Design, Layout and Construction of Sewers.
Chapter 4. Combined Sewers, Manholes, and inlets.
Chapter 5. Sewage Pumping.
Chapter 6. Sewage Disposal.
Chapter 7 .Introduction to the Method of Waste Water Treatment.
