PART 2 :

1) Describing a picture ( 45 seconds)

There is/ are + adj (opinion) + adj + noun.
I see + nouns related to the topic
Describe the action using present continuous and a modal
verb:
Eg: They may/might/ must be playing an important match.
Useful language to speculate:
I´m sure, probably, it seems that, they look as if they, I think, I
guess, you can tell

There is a happy and small family. I see many things such as

christmas tree and a big present. The little daughter may be
giving away a surprised present to her parents
They look as if they are a close family. You can tell they get on
really well because all of them are smiling.

PART 3: Comparison
1) Comparing pictures ( 45 seconds)

Both pictures are related to/ both pictures have to do with

….. but/although they are different one to another because
the picture on the right/on the left/above/below shows +
adj+ noun whereas the other picture shows + adj + noun.

There are also more differences. For instance, in one of the

photos + comparativo de inferioridad than the other
Both pictures are related to holiday destinations although
they are different one to another because the picture on
the right shows an exotic island whereas the other picture
shows a bustling of a big city.

2) Pros and cons (45 seconds)

Some of the advantages of + verb ing are that + subj+ verb
and a disadvantage/drawback could be that + subj+ verb if
we compare with the other picture.
Besides, + verb + ing is not as + adj as + verb + ing because
+subj+ verb.

Some of the advantages of visiting an exotic country are

that you could take interesting pictures and a disadvantage
could be that sometimes you can put your life at risk if you
don´t know country well.
Besides, spending your holiday in an exotic destination is
not as ordinary as sightseeing aroun the big city.
3) Preferences ( 45 seconds)

I´d rather prefer to + verb than + veb + ing because + subj+

verb.
On the other hand/ on the contrary/ + second conditional.
Nevertheless, verb + ing + would be much more + long adj/
er short adj because + subj+ verb

I´d rather prefer to go visit an exotic country than visiting a

Cosmopolitan city.
On the other hand, it would be very exciting if I had dinner
in a fancy restaurant every night in the city centre of a
capital city. Nevertheless, going to an exotic country would
be much more fun because I could meet new cultures.
