 THE WORLD IS PRECIOUS AND WE
NEED TO KEEP IT THAT WAY .

 Without the Earth we have no where to live, along with many other organisms. If we
don't save the Earth now maybe our children or grandchildren might not be able to see it
for long. Our atmosphere is weakening and we have to do something about it fast.

 We could plant more trees to create more oxygen to keep the bad air away from the
atmosphere, or we could just stop cutting down the rainforest. We are living and we need
the space but we aren't the only species on this earth. Saving the rainforest is not only
good for us and the atmosphere but also good for many different species.

 1) Plant trees and save trees.

 2) Save paper.

 3) Get used to living in natural weather and climatic conditions.

 4) Limit using deodorant and aerosol sprays.

 5) Builders and architects should use less glass.

 8) Drive less, walk more..

 9) Use less plastic.

AIR POLLUTANTS

 Air pollutants are the main

causes of global environmental
threats such as ozone depletion,
acid rain or greenhouse effect.
Most common and most pollute
the atmosphere: sulfur dioxide,
nitrogen oxides and particulates.
ACID RAIN

 The effects of "acid rain"

1. Soil acidification

2. Acidification of surface
waters.

3. Pollution of fauna and flora.

GREENHOUSE EFFECT

 The greenhouse effect is

caused by excess carbon dioxide.
Environmentalists are calling for
reduction of emissions of this
gas into the air.
POLLUTION OF WATER

 Certainly we are not and

never will be able to completely
prevent the pollution of water.
However, we should take action
to limit further contamination of
the water.
DEFORESTATION

 The great catastrophe of the

planet is continuing destruction of
tropical rainforests. These
processes of destruction are a
threat on a global scale.
Devastating impact of human
activities on nature has been going
on for many centuries.
