First Rule
Safety First

Service Training
Only a trained driver should operate the C90
For a save operation of the truck all safety regulations given by the
Linde C90 Operators Handbook as well as the Local regulations
have to be followed strictly !

A wrong use of the truck can end in Human injury and financial loss
for the operating company

Possible Display Indications

Informations are indicated like


Truck Status Info ( T1 –T99)
Example :
T5 means , Speed Limitation Active ( Truck Full Operational only slow speed )

Truck Warnings ( 100 – 199 with either T or L or Z or Y in front )


Example
148 means seat switch problem ( Truck will go in Limp Home )

Alarms the truck will stop either drive or lift or both


Example
L 345

L xxx error lift in or related to Master LHC

T xxx error drive in or related to Master LHC

Or

Z xxx error lift in or related to Slave LHC

Y xxx error drive in or related to Slave LHC

D indicates , there is a problem with the truck display or related


systems

X indicate Cummins engine problems

Note : Under normal condition the brake pedals will only be used to keep the
truck stationary !
Brake Force is created automatically when the drive pedal is released !
Soft/slow release will create a smoth braking , quick release will creat more
rapid brakeforce

Lift and Tilt Operation

The lift / Lower Tilt Forward /Backward control is given by the


Joystick ! A lift or tilt command will operate this function and
automatically also a speed command is given to the engine !

Lift

Multi functions ( lift and tilt , Lower and Tilt ) are possible by
moving the joystick in a way to operate the Y and X axes in one

Drive / Transport Position of the Spreader


Lift the mast up until the T5 indication in the cabs display is
switching off, tilt the mast fully back
( With or without Container )

Note :
If the Spreader is Higher or lower as the dedicated transport
position
the machine will only drive slowly and a information code is given
on the drivers display

Spreader Operation
Double Handling Spreader

The Spreader Endbeams carrying insteat of Twistlock a hook type


attachement with a hydraulic activated clamp
The picture shows one of two end beam assembly in the
Ready for pick position

On the Spreader Indicator Lamp row only the red light will be on

This indicates , No Container !

Now operate the function
Clamp

The Piston of the Hydraulic cylinder will be forced out and the clamp
hooks will move into the the twistlock corner holes on the lower and
upper container
The indicator lights changing to

The system is now ready for lifting up the single container or the
double package !

If the top box is shifted more then 30 mm offset to the left , the left
orange light will flash , if the offset is to the right , the right orange
light will flash !

NOTE : Truck will only reach full travel speed if only the red or only
the green light is on
