Safety Regulations

The parking brake should not be used to bring the
Reach Stacker to a halt unless in an emergency.

If the driver is leaving the seat with parking brake


not activated, an audio signal is sounding.

NOTE!
The P-brake can be activated at any speed of the
machine

Emergency stop switch

NOTE!
When using the emergency stop, all functions are
cut out, the parking brake is activated and the
engine stops.

WARNING
There is a risk of tipping over if the emergency stop
is used when the truck is moving.

 Safety override key

WARNING!

The safety override key is used to simulate


alignment and may cause uncontrolled release of
the container.
Risk of serious injury and damage to the vehicle.

The key should only be used by service personnel.

 Emergency lowering button

NOTE!
This lowering is very slow.
Only the boom angle is decreased,
the boom is not retracted.

 If the container is more than 0.5 m above


ground or the container stacked below,
another Reach Stacker or crane must
hold the container weight during the
entire emergency lowering.

 Parking
Make sure that:

 The boom is fully lowered.


 The boom is fully retracted.
 The spreader beams are fully
closed to 20’ position.
The main circuit switch is
switched off.
