Learning Objective To demonstrate different parts of a plant.

Success Criteria - I can paint a paper plate yellow.


- I can cut the edges of the paper plate to make petals.
- I can mix a little coffee with water to make the inside of the sunflower.
- I can glue corn kernels into the inside of the flower.
- I can cut out a stem and leaves using green paper.
- I can put the flower together at the end.

Introduction After the video ends the teacher will ask this question “who can tell me what we saw in
the video?” after she hears the student’s answers, the teacher will start reminding the
students about plants and what they need to live. Then the teacher will interduce the
new flower that they will learn about which is “Sunflower”. The teacher will interduce
the part of the plants and make the students help her to name the parts of the flower
by drawing the flower and then let the students say it.

Main lesson MAIN TASK:

(inc differentiation) The students will make sunflower using paper plate, yellow(color), scissors,
green papers and a4 paper to stick their work on it. The students will do their
work by the guide of the teacher basically the teacher will show what the
students should do then they will follow her steps. After they finish the teacher
will write on the board the sunflower parts then the students will copy then on
their paper beside each part.

Plenary after they finish the teacher will ask the one or two students to come in the
front and recall the parts of the flower.
