ENGLISH LITERATURE:
1. Novel “Prince and the pauper”. Pg. 1-150, (comprehension, inference, analysis,
compare/contrast of characters, literary devices).
2. Poem “Stopping by the woods” by Robert Frost, sonnet “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s
day” by William Shakespeare and poem “Lucy Gray” by William Wordsworth, (annotation, poetic
analysis, identification and analysis of themes, identification and analysis of poetic devices).
3. “Mining for Meaning”, (introduction into Shakespeare, setting, characterization,
tension/suspense, drama).
4. Greek roots from given worksheets.
Note: Please note that all analysis based answers for English Literature must adhere to PEE structure.
