THE PRAMBANAN TEMPLES

One upon a time, there was a kingdom named Prambanan. All the people of Prambanan lived
calmly and peacefully. Until the pengging kingdom attacked this impire.then, prambanan ruled
by the king of pengging kindom. His name was bandung bondowoso, He was a greedy and
wicked king. He also had the miracles power. And then, he had the humans and ginies soldier

One day, The king of Prambanan had a daughter named roro Jonggrang. she was so kind and
very beautiful girl. Unfortunately, Bandung Bondowoso fell in love with her beauty. He really
wanted to marry jonggrang. “You’re very beautiful. Do you to be my wife?” asked Bandung
Bondowoso. roro Jonggrang was surprised and shocked with his request. She didn’t want to
marry man like Bandung Bondowoso. She wanted to say no, but she was so afraid because
bondowoso would be mad and angry. She was also afraid because bonsowoso can in danger
her people of prambanan. Then, she had a plan. ”if u want to marry me. I gave u one night to
construct 1000 temple” asked roro jongrang. “what? This is Impossible. I can’t build it in one
night” said bondowoso . But, bondowoso didn’t give up. He came to his advisor.
“oh my king, u can asked your ginies to help built the temples”. Said his advisor.

So, Bandung Bondowoso called all of his ginies. “come on ginies come onnnn!!!” he gave
them to construct a 1000 temples. The speed of temples construction was so quickly. And then,
roro jonggrang heard from her asisstent, that temples contruction was almost finish. She was
so worried. And the, she had another great idea, so, she called every servant to help her.. "Please
prepare a lot of straw and mortar. Come on,hurry up! Burn the straw and make some noise
pounding the mortar, quickly.” Said roro jongrang All of her servants did what she asked.;
burning straw and pounding the mortar, making the genies think that the sun is going to rise.

“It’s dawn. We have to go,” said the leader of the genies to Bandung Bondowoso. They afraid
of the sun. So, they stopped their works and left bondowoso. They didn’t know that jonggrang
was burning the straws and make some niose from the mortars.

Bandung Bondowoso can’t stop the genies from leaving him. He was angry. He knew Loro
Jonggrang had just tricked him. "You cannot fool me, Loro Jonggrang. I already have 999
temples. I just need one more temple. Now, I will make you the one-thousandth temple." He
pointed his finger to he and said some mantras. Magically, Loro Jonggrang’s body turned into
tempel. Until now, the temple is still standing in Prambanan area, Central Java. And the temple
is called Loro Jonggrang temple..
