Incorrect Homophones

Homophones are words that sound alike. They have different spellings and
different meanings.
I ate too much for supper. I missed eight problems on the test.

Directions: Read the story and cross out the incorrect homophones and replace
them with the correct ones.

Peggy was very upset with the hotel made. She should have asked
Peggy weather or not she wanted her to replace the drooping rows with
new ones. Peggy had been saving that rows because it was very special
to her. She would have to find the maid and tell her about the horrible
mistake she had maid by throwing out her rows.
Peggy asked the hotel manager where she could find the made

Peggy that she worked hard growing these beautiful flowers and prayed
every night for beautiful weather so that rain would not damage her
garden. Peggy was so amazed at the beauty of the rows bushes that she
forgot all about being mad. She told the made that she loved the rows
she had left for her and thanked her.
