• Assistant Sports Nutrition Consultant, Chicago CUBS, Eugene, OR May, 2019 – Present
o Responsible for nutritional wellness through individual consultation with professional baseball players in the Chicago Cubs’
minor league farm system.
o Administer individualized nutrition plans for the season and re-asses to determine appropriate off-season plan.
o Design and implement nutrition protocols to ensure peak athletic performance, recovery and hydration.
o Interdisciplinary collaboration with coaching, athletic training and strength and conditioning staff to ensure maximal player
development and performance.

o Managed student volunteers and attended interdisciplinary meetings including director of nutrition performance, strength and
conditioning coaches, athletic trainers and chefs.
o One-on-one nutrition counseling with athletes to determine nutrition status and eating behaviors, prepared meal plans, assessed
body composition and created nutrition education and handouts.
o Managed a fuel station to provided pre-workout and recovery fuel including personalized shakes, supplied stations with on-the-
go snacks and drinks, tracked inventory and ordering, received groceries, logged temperatures and followed proper sanitary
practices.
o Oversaw cooking stations and cooking classes with athletes, taught cooking techniques and new recipes while improving diet
composition.

o Developed educational material for the Tanglewood Trail Walking program and research materials such as surveys; planned
and carried out community nutrition activities, developed community relationships, data collection, analysis and reporting and
traveled to obtain measurements from participants. Collected and interpreted lipid panels, hemoglobin A1c and carotenoid
scans to community members. One abstract published in a peer-reviewed journal, citation available upon request.
