KRISTINE JOY A.

PASCUAL

This is way back in February 2014 and I was 6 yrs. old that time. I was really little that time and there’s only a few things
that I remember. Baguio is really a good place to visit. Baguio, to many, is best known as the "Summer Capital of the
Philippines". Everybody loves Baguio. It’s the so-called “coldest city in the Philippines”. At times, the temperature would drop
to as low as 9 degrees Celsius especially from November to February. The abundance of pine trees around the city is one of the
place’s most distinguishing feature. Tourists have loved the pine smell for so many years. Sadly, these pine trees have
decreased in number in the past 10 years. If you love the mountain, come to Baguio.

This picture is taken way back in May 2014. I am in Subic with my Family. (Mama Leslie, Papa Smack, Ate Kath and Ate
Kamille) This is the time where I begin to love swimming. My father taught me on how to swim, so swimming became my
hobby. I also love beaches because the air is refreshing. Walking on sand & watching the waves has an extremely calming
effect on me. In that very moment, just looking over the waves, I seldom forget everything and just savor the moment.
Sunsets is really one of a kind. Just watching the sun go down over the sea is simply breathtaking. Sunsets in Subic is
really memorable for me.
This is wayback in November 2013 and I am 5 years old that
time. I am with my Ate Kath who helped me to dress like a Tiyanak
(also Tianac). We are in Puregold Dau for a Halloween Party and
somebody told us that they will give a large amount of price for
the best in costume. Meanwhile when we got there, I saw that the
participants are in Hero’s costume. I begin to realize that their
Halloween party has a theme which is “Superheroes”. I
remembered that time that I cry so hard because many people are
laughing one my appearance because seriously, I was like a beggar.
(Kidding aside) This is one of the most embarrassing moment of
my life that I would never ever forget. After knowing, I run to the
bathroom to clean myself while still crying. My parents and sister
where laughing so hard. I was really mad that time for dressing up
like this. Haha.

Going to church every Sunday is really Our thing. OLVP (Our lady of Victory Parish) is Our favorite Church. Going to
church is a tangible expression of our love for God. It is where we gather together to publicly show our faith and trust in
God. We go to church to glorify God. We gather because we are one body, drawn together by God to be a people of God
who live for God. We testify to God’s greatness. We disciple others through life together. We serve, teach and encourage,
not just one another, but the world at large. We gather because we live life together in being effective witnesses to our
local communities. We gather because the diversity of the local church should mirror heaven to a dying, lost and sinful
world. Christians are made to gather.
This is way back in 2013 and I am in Paradise Ranch Clark Pampanga. Along the way, we saw a small community of Aetas.
It's amazing to see pigs and wild boars running around their village. They can move freely like cats and dogs. What I like
about this tourist destination is that they are not only advocating environmental conservation but also providing jobs for
the Aetas. By paying for a reasonable entrance fee, you will be able to relax, unwind, and help the Aetas make a decent
living at the same time. I really love animals, in this picture as you can see, I am happy feeding the bird. Paradise Ranch is
really awesome place to visit. we were surprised to see this very enchanting bird called the Golden Pheasant. It is
believed to be the inspiration behind IBONG ADARNA.

It is a really hot Sunday Afternoon and we were in Sky ranch Tagaytay. City dwellers looking for a quick weekend
recreation will surely enjoy Skyranch since it has a lot to offer aside from it fun park rides and exciting activities. One
thing that you shouldn’t be missed is “The Sky Eye“, dubbed as the tallest Ferris wheel in the country. The moment we
got here, we were eyeing at one thing only—the Sky Eye! It’s like the elevation of Sky Ranch wasn’t high enough that you
have to ride this thing to reach for the sky. From the top of Sky Eye we saw an incredible view of Taal Volcano along with
the provinces and cities surrounding Tagaytay. I really enjoyed riding in this Ferris wheel. You’ll have that delightful
heightened feeling because of the thrill of moving upwards on an already high spot. This literally lets you reach greater
heights in terms of motion and emotion. I really want to visit here again.
This is taken last July 2019. We were in Minalungao National Park
Nueva Ecija. It’s well known that Nueva Ecija is home to many
spectacular churches and rice field landscapes, however, there is
this one hidden place, though I must say that it’s not anymore due
to the increased number of visitors, called Minalungao National Park
— from the words mina (mine) and lungao (cave). As a geologist
wannabe, I am always fascinated by rock formations. Adding spice
to the park’s beauty is the green Peñaranda River. If you are bold
enough, cliff diving and cliff climbing may actually fit for you. Aside
from the scenic limestone walls and the Peñaranda River, there’s
another way to enjoy the park which is by exploring the
Minalungao Cave located at the foot of Minalungao Hill. Above all,
Minalungao National Park really suffices me with its refreshing air
and breathtaking landscapes. To maintain its beauty, I encourage
everyone visiting the park to please be a responsible traveler. Let
the future generations also experience the kind of feeling we are
experiencing today at Minalungao National Park.

It was a normal Saturday Afternoon and I was with my family , relatives and family friends. Family Bonding is really a
thing for us. It is a must for us and became a routine that we should bond once a week. Spending time together is one of
the greatest gifts we can give to one another. Not only does quality time strengthen and build family bonds, but also
provides us a sense of belonging and security for everyone in the family. The concept of family is not just about those
who were born to you or share a blood relation. The family is defined by a person or group of people with whom you feel
closest to. I have a large extended family that doesn’t involve just blood-related family members. The family structure
regardless of blood relation is a vital component of society and the mental health of our children. When children grow
up in a household that puts family bonding at a high level of priority, tend to be more caring, compassionate and great at
relationships in the future.
This photo is taken last month and it is the first birthday of my nephew “Dean Callum Trevor”. He is really a cute baby boy
and everybody love him. The party starts at exactly 11 am and My ate Kath is the host. I was really hungry at that time
because the party started late. It is the very first milestone in Callum’s life and I am absolutely sure that he will have
many, many milestones in the future. The first talk, first walk, the first school, the first university and so on. And I just
can’t believe how time flies. Meanwhile we have to thank God for giving us this kind of blessing. Our family is really
expanding. Being the youngest in the Family is really a happy one. Bacause I have my sisters who always there to help me
in whatever aspects. I’m really blessed to have this kind of family. They are truly God’s Gift for me.

I always remember the time when God sent my Lola Home. It was August 11, 2019 at exactly 11 pm. She taught me
everything except how to live without her. She is my favorite lola. No one could ever take that place. She meant the
world to me. Her death has been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. Someone says “Time heals everything” but
for me that’s not true, for me “Time helps us to accept everything but not fully heal”. It’s been 57 days since you left us
and time help me to accept that you’re gone. I really miss you. I wish Heaven had visiting hours. Cause if it has, I will
really visit you every week with your favorite food. I’m really sorry for not giving the eyes that you needed but I tried my
best to be your eyes when you’re with me. I wish you’re happy now. Thankyou La for being loving me unconditionally.
You’re a God’s Gift and I know that time can never fully heal me because the day that you’ve gone, I also lost myself too.
