2. Cebu hosts one of the Philippines' most colorful and well-known festivals, which people celebrate with zeal and
enthusiasm. Cebu holds many festivals in various towns and cities. Cebu's fiestas are marked by religious rites
and public dancing to the beat of drums.
3. Cebuanos, on the other hand, have their own version of weaved baskets, which are called as bakat in the local
language. The lattice designs on the bamboo strips are created by hand, as is the construction of the local craft.
4. The Sinulog-Santo Nio Festival is an annual cultural and religious festival held in Cebu City on the third Sunday of
January and Carmen, Cebu on the fourth Sunday of January, and is the focal point of the Philippines' Santo Nio
Catholic celebrations.
