On August 30, 2019, I went to DESAME HARDWARE in Purok 4, Bulanao,

Tabuk City to Withdraw construction materials therefrom using a Purchase Order
(PO) that was issued to me by one JOAN FLORES, who is the liaison officer of
BHM Construction Company;

B. Said JOAN FLORES issued to me said PO, in the amount of more or less
250,000.00, and assured to me that the same is legal and genuine. I believed in her
representation since she works in BHM Construction. She would not be in
possession of the PO if she does not have the authority to possess and issue the
same;

C. Said PO even bore the name of officers of BHM that is why I was in total belief
that the PO I had with me was legal. Hence, armed with the PO I went to
DESAME HARDWARE using my mini dumptruck to withdraw the materials;

D. However, when I presented the PO to DESAME HARDWARE, Police Officers

approached me and arrested me. I was shocked because I did not know why I was
being arrested;

E. The materials were not even loaded to my mini dumptruck yet. I asked the Police
Officers why I was being arrested. They told me that the PO I had with me is
fake;

F. When they brought me to the Police Station, the Police Officers asked me the
name of the person who gave me the PO. Hence, I told them the truth that Joan
Flores was the one who gave it to me;

G. Contrary to the allegation in the complaint, I never uttered the following

statement: “haan lang nga sisiak ti apan mangal-ala ti materyales. Adu kami met
nga agal-ala”. What I only told the police was the name of Joan Flores who issued
to me the PO;
