1.1 Introduction:

With the increase in the size and complexity of business organization, man has become
the most important factor in business. The Krishibid Bazaar srores are currently focused in
food retailing, raning from a widw variety of fresh vegetable, fruits, meat and fish to grocery,
bakery, dairy, personal and household products. It provides its customers with guaranteed
quality and freshness. It carries more than 30,000 varieties of products and has plans of
expand it’s products protfolio to carry others ranges of customer products in the coming
years, it buys products diriect form the growers, which benefits the latter as well as the
customers. The products are procured under the direct supervision of it’s officals who
maintain strict procurement and marketing standards. Products on the shelves are regularly
monitored for expiry dates. About 2,000 customers use every day in every stroe. Customer
prefer using both cash and cradit cards. The Krishibid Bazaar shops are open from 8.00 am to

experiencer in the morning and evenong. Most of the employees of these stores are young and
well-educated, some with masters and MBA degrees and PHD.

1.2 Objectives of the Study

1.2.1 Broad Objective

To know overall information about the organization of Krishibid Group Limited. And also
know about the recruitment and selection process of that organization.

1.2.2 Specific Objective

 To find out the policies or strategies regarding recruitment and selection


process.
 To find out connection between the theories and practices on
recruitment and selection process.
 To bring clarity and consistency in the selection and recruitment process.
 To ensure equal opportunity for employment.
 To identify the problems regarding Selection and Recruitment practices
 To resolve problems of selection and recruitment process.
 To identify and describe the HR activities of Krishibid Group.

The report covers the daily functions, and process of recruitment and selection practice as
well as periodic programs, and annual events performed by the HR department of Krishibid
Group Limited. We had an opportunity to gather experience by working in HR department of
KG, which has added an important learning about how the recruitment and selection process
and HR practice are actually performed and coordinated. The area of concentration of this
report is to identify the recruitment and selection activities with a special focus on the
selecting the best employeefor the organization.1.4 Limitation of the study:

To prepare the report we faced the following limitations:

1. Only three months are not enough time range to understand the overall
operations and observe the total activities of a busy HR department of a big agro
based company like Krishibid Group Limited.
2. The HR department did not agree in providing accurate statistics and
information all the time.
3. The organization does not disclose their secret data and all the information.

4. Personnel’s are so busy in their duty, so they did not give sufficient time
regarding our report. This created unavailability of data and information.
5. Working in the organization and in the same time preparing internship report
makes complexity especially when the work load becomes high and deadline
knocks at the door.
