Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague): e.g. how did you feel about
conducting a formal observation? How did your colleague feel about being observed? How did you feel about
discussing your observations with your colleague after the lesson? How did your colleague react to your
assessment? Did she agree with your evaluation? Which of the suggestions you made will your colleague apply in
her next lesson? Do you and your colleague feel that this was a valuable experience? Why/Why not?

• Peer observations taught me a lot, watching someone while teaching and taking notes would help you to be
a great teacher. I watched bashayer teach and from that I learned some ideas of managing the lesson time.
Bashayer was a little nervous in the beginning but as soon as we start, she changed into the most confident
teacher. The feedback after the observation went well, we spoke about some grammar issues she had and
she was listening to me because she’s the kind that wants to take feedback to be a great teacher. One
suggestion I told bashayer about and saw it in her next observation is to motivate students in the beginning
of the class to get them think that this subject is great and they want to learn more about it

Please share feedback immediately following the observation once the forms are completed.
