Equipment

 We will take pride and care of instruments, uniforms, and required


materials.
 Students are required to have a pencil, music, and charts available during
rehearsal.
 All students must have a tuner that is not on their phone.
 Students will have adequate reeds if they are a woodwind.
 Students will have all needed percussion sticks if they are a percussionist.
 Students will have valve oil, and slide grease if they are a brass player.
 IF students do not come prepared, they will need to borrow equipment from
a friend, or they will not participate and earn a zero for that day.
 The EHS band program will provide larger instruments if needed. This can
include Tubas, Baritones, French Horns, Mellophones, and Trombones.
Special arrangements may also be made for other instruments if one contacts
Ms.Whitaker about it.
 In the event that an instrument is damaged during band activities, the
instrument will be covered by the program. Any damage outside of band
activities will be covered by the student.
 We do NOT do any resale within this program.
 LABEL EVERYTHING

Instrument Storage
 Students will be able to store instruments in individual lockers with locks.
Combinations to locks will be given out the first week.

Pick-up and Return


 If a current EHS student is picking up a rented instrument, they may come in
during the band hour/office hour to pick it up.
 Transfers/Freshman: Between the hours of noon-6pm on May 14th and 15th.
o If you are unavailable at these times, please contact Ms.Whitaker to
schedule a pick-up time.
 Graduating and non-returning students will return instruments the class
period after the final concert.
 Returning members may recheck their instrument the class period after the
final concert.
