When you watch both versions of “What Is Love,” It is about not hurting your significant
other again if you have done so already while sharing each other’s happiness. According to the
lyrics of both versions, it sends out a message to spend most of your time with the person you are
in a relationship without giving each other conflicts. When watching both versions of the video, I
was able to realize the same message was delivered in a totally different way from the original. I
will able to make claims to support my theory on how they are different. A lot from how and
where the setting takes place speaks volumes of what the song means.
In both video versions, “What Is Love” is about making sure your significant other is
getting your time on regular basis. A real man or woman is going to make time for you if they
really love you. Most people are good at giving a bunch of excuses. The background of the
original videos is a setting of intimacy. Intimacy is a way to spice up your relationship when you
feel that the love is starting to fade away. In the remix version, the couple are seen traveling
together. They are always with each other. They would have numerous moments of staring each
other in the eye. It is a sign of enjoying each other’s company. They did things as simple as
having a drink. The one thing they did to show what love is was do activities they are both good
at and have in common. They show that love is about getting out your comfort zone together to
explore new ideas. I think that was where they were going with that when they started playing

with paint while hanging out with a couple of other friends. One of the biggest reasons why
relationships fail is because one person does not share the same interest as the other. Everybody
has standards when it comes to relationships. It is best to be with someone that you share
common interest with so that you can share your happiness with each other.
While the original video shows Haddaway trying to fix things after being hurt, the remix
shows a couple doing whatever it takes so that neither will ever have to feel hurt inside. He puts
all his pride to the side to ask a woman what is right or wrong. He wants to know how he can fix
everything that is happening. When you really love a person, you tend to ask what you did wrong
knowing that it was not anything you did wrong. Sometimes it is about what you never do
anymore. That’s how the lyric “Baby Don’t Hurt Me No More” comes in to play. He wants to
In the remix version, the couple keep holding each other close. I feel like the biggest
reason for that is to keep reminding one another that they are the only one they will choose every
single day. That is important when showing how you love someone. When one person is not
reminding the other how much they care for them, it makes the other become distant from them
without them noticing. It all starts with giving a meaningful smile everyday to make sure that
both partners are certain about each other without any doubt in their mind.
At the end of the day, the message that both video versions sent is that we should always
show appreciation to our significant other. We do not ever want to feel replaced because they
found someone better to treat them how we were supposed to from the beginning. When
choosing a person to love, you should always learn their background so that you do not become
blind sided about having too many differences while dating. It can hurt you in the long run if
they find a person that has the same qualities as your partner. When your partner realizes that

you do not share the same vision as them, they end up losing feelings for you. That becomes the
most dangerous thing in any relationship. Nobody does not want to be hurt a second time. It is
always important to sit down with your partner and figure out how to make your relationship
