A cocktail is a type of mixed drinks although bar
experts say that not every mixed drink is
considered a cocktail. As a mixed drink, a
cocktail consists of a base liquor, a modifying
ingredient and a special flavouring or colouring
agent. It is often taken as before dinner drink to
whet the appetite or taken during cocktail
gatherings. It is also believed to be an aid to
digestion. Quality cocktails must be pleasing to
the palate without an overpowering ingredients.

DRY MARTINI
2 j gin
1/3 bar spoon of dry vermouth
Procedure :
Stir gently the gin and dry vermouth in a
mixing glass with ice then strain into a
pre chilled Martini glass.

2 j gin

MANHATTAN
½ j sweet vermouth
2 j bourbon whiskey
1 dash Angostura® bitters

COSMOPOLITAN
1 j Citrus vodka
1 j Cointreau
2 j cranberry juice
½ j limejuice
1 cup ice
Directions :
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with
ice. Shake then strain into a pre chilled martini
glass. Garnish with a lime twist.
Procedure :
1 j Galliano
1 j white crème de cacao
1 j heavy cream
HARVEY WALLBANGER
1 J vodka
4 j orange juice
½ J Galliano
Pour the vodka and orange juice into a Collins
glass filled with ice. Stir well. Then Float the
Galliano on top and garnish with orange slice
TEQUILA SUNRISE
1 J tequila
4 j Orange juice
½ j grenadine
Direction :
Pour tequila and orange juice into a
Collins glass filled with ice. Stir well. Add
the grenadine and garnish with an orange
slice and a cherry.

MOJITO
6 Mint leaves
1 j White rum
1 j lime juice
2 tsp sugar
1 j Club soda/soda water
Muddle the mint leaves with sugar, rum and
lime juice into a Collins glass. Fill with ice.
Stir well.
Top with the club soda and garnish with a
mint sprig.

2 j Orange syrup

BUILD METHOD
(No Pre mixing)
BLOODY MARY
1j vodka
tomato juice
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of lemon juice
Ground Pepper
Rim the glass with salt. Pour the liquid
ingredients into a highball glass over ice
cubes. Add the seasonings to taste.
Garnish with celery stalk.
Base : vodka

½ j lemon juice
½ simple syrup
Soda Water

Pour the rum and Squeeze the juice of half
a lime into a high ball with ice .
Fill glass with soda water.

2 j vodka
15 ml French vermouth
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. Add all
ingredients. Stir and strain into a chilled
cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon and
green olive.

GIMLET/straight up
2 j gin
½ j lime juice
Pour all the ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
Stir, and strain into a pre chilled ccocktail glass

PERFECT MANHATTAN
2 j bourbon whisky
½ J Sweet vermouth

cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and
fill with ice. Stir, and strain into a chilled

SHAKE METHOD
MARGARITA
2 j tequila
1 j triple sec/cointreau
1 j lemon
Rim the glass with salt..Pour all ingredients in
shaker, shake then strain into a Margarita
glass.
Base : tequila

Glass : margarita glass (welled)
Garnish: slice of lemon
WHISKY SOUR
2 j bourbon whisky
½ j simple syrup
½ j lemon juice
Procedure :
Shake well all ingredients into a shaker and
strain into a whisky sour glass. Garnish with
red cherry on the rim and orange
Base : whisky
Method: shake
Glass : whisky sour glass
Garnish: slice of orange and cherry
KAMIKAZE
1 j vodka
1 j triple sec
1 j lemon
Pour all ingredients into a shaker, shake and
strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon on
the rim.

PINK LADY
1 j gin
¼ j calamansi/lime juice
¼ j grenadine
1 pc egg white
Pour all ingredients into a shaker and strain
into a pre chilled champagne glass. Garnish
with red cherry on the rim.

1 cup ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth in blender.

1 j Bacardi rum
1 j lime juice
½ j sugar syrup
1 cup ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth in blender.
Garnish with a slice of lemon
Base : rum
Method: blend
Glass : margarita glass
Garnish: slice of lemon
PINA COLADA
1 j Bacardi rum
4 j pineapple juice
1 j coconut cream
1/ 2 j sugar syrup
1 cup ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth in blender.
Pour mixture in a Poco grande glass.Garnish
with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.
Base : rum
Method: blend
Glass : poco grande/hurricane glass
Garnish: slice of pineapple and cherry
MANGO DAIQUIRI
1 j Bacardi rum
½ j triple sec
½ j calamansi
½ j syrup
½ ripe mango
1 cup ice
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and
serve.Pour mixture into a poco grande or hurricane
glass.
Base : rum
