Travel With One of the Best Airport Experience

Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is the main gateway to Delhi, India and one of the busiest airport
in the region. The airport hosts domestic, regional and international and cargo services from over 40
airlines.

There are a total of three terminals at the IGI Airport with the arrival and main hall. Terminal 3 is used for
the international arrival with lower floor gates dedicated for arrival. Terminal 1 and 2 are only for
domestic passengers and flights arrival halls.

IGI Airport – Terminal 2

Currently, Terminal 2 is the home to some domestic low-cost carriers that served on Terminal 1 earlier
such as GoAir, IndiGo and Spice Jet. These were moved to Terminal 2 from 1 due to some refurbishing
works in Terminal 1C and 1D. The main purpose of the making Terminal 2 was to decrease the crowd and
pressure on Terminal 1. As the T2 is temporary, so when the problem will be solved it will get a new
name with a different purpose. There are total 16 boarding gates, including aero-bridges at the Terminal
2. The arrival passengers on the Terminal 2 needs to check-in at least 2 hrs before travel time to enjoy
hassle-free services of Delhi Airport.

Transfer Between Terminals

If you are on Terminal 3, then Delhi Airport Metro Express line will help you move to Terminal 2. You can
even hire a prepaid/radio cab like Meru, Mega, Ola, Uber, etc. to IGI Terminal 2 main gate. For ease of
travel between the terminals, Delhi Airport has even provided the facility to travel to other terminals
freely using shuttle service.

 Between Domestic Terminals: Passengers can travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 by using
Complimentary Golf cart service.
 From International to Domestic: If any passengers need to move from T3 to T2 or T1, then he can
take the shuttle service. The buses run at an interval of every 20 minutes.

Services – Taxi, Cabs, Lounges, Wifi and more

All arrival terminal gates have the facility for hiring cabs, taxi services.

 IGI Airport provides great leisure service to passengers with excellent travel experience. Traveler's
lounges are also available for passengers to get some rest.
Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic Departures): Location: Terminal 2, Airside, close to Gate 25. The
lounge service is available 24/7.
 Travelers now have the facility to directly avail express check-in with one luggage. This is a good step
to ease the travel experience of passengers and provide hassle-free services.
 Free Wifi facility is available to every passenger with a time limit of 45 minutes,which require an
Indian mobile number. The airport is facilitated with many power sockets for mobile charging.
 The foodies have near about 7 options for different categories of food to chose from which includes
Gujurati street food, pan-Asian fast food, and pizza, pick and mix salads and fresh juices. Some
standalone fast food corners are also available in the terminal who offer sandwiches and go ready
meals.
 As this Terminal is temporary and recently opened, the Shopping is limited and around half a dozen
stores are available for the same. United Colors of Benetton is available for clothing, luggage, and
accessories outlet, a multi-brand perfume store. Terminal 2 is a domestic airport and therefore duty-
free shopping is not available.
