Demographic factors to consider in migration practices

Migration involves the action of moving from one place to another. There are pullers and
pushers of migration. The pullers make a country more attractive to migration. Pushers, on the
other hand, are the undesirable traits of the place that encourages people to move away. This
migration would be caused by economic, social or demographic factors. And among these
factors, the broadest among them are the demographic factors which pertain to population,
specifically population density, population structure, and disease prevalence. But nomatter how
broad demographics is, these factors should be specifically considered in migrating to other
places.

Here are the demographic factors that we need to consider when migrating. First is
income. The economy of the place you are about to move in has to be more stable and higher.
This can be reflected on the average income of the people living there. Another thing to
consider is whether the income you get is sustainable to your living expenses. Second is
employment. It is important to consider what kind of job would be in store for you as you
migrate in that place. Aside from the nature of the job, check if there are health benefits,
insurances, that you can get from working. Third is culture. It is important to know the culture
of the place that you will migrate upon. There might be some practices in the place which are
against your beliefs and principles. The fourth one which is related to the previous factor is
reliigion. Furthermore, another thing to consider is the proportionality of religion. If majority of
the people living in the country have the same religion as you, then you can always agree with
whatever they believe in. However, diversity of religion is also a good thing since you are always
accepted in the community for whatever your religion is. Despite differences in religion,
diversity causes acceptance in each other's beliefs. Considering these demographic factors
would be helpful in your transition as you migrate to another place.
