7th Reflection on micro teaching experience

Today we conducted the teaching practicum in our own university in the form of micro teaching.

We do not went to the IBA public school because of the Parent day. We did the teaching in pairs.

Me and my pair taught the topic of De Morgan’s Laws. It was the topic of math subject.

This was a very effective experience related to work together and making a lesson plan. The

discussion about the idea was full of knowledge. I think the more important thing in our discussion

was the selection of the topic and discussing the ideas related to it.

When we went for teaching it was quite effective experience. But one thing which I have to focus

was the effective use of black board. I was using it in a way which was causing confusion for the

students as well as for me.

After this experience I thought that I would be very focus related to using the blackboard. And

from this experience and onward I have fully benefited during my teaching that how I should use

the blackboard. I experience that the effective usage of blackboard, matters very much during the

teaching process.

The other thing related to the micro teaching was that the example which I have chosen took more

time because it was lengthy. And in result we did the end of the example very quickly which

created a sense of boring in the teaching process. And more important thing is that we have a very

limited time during micro teaching. So after this experience I think much about the selection of

different examples related to the topic. I think about the time which I have to take during the

explanation of that example and the time which I have allocated to the whole period.
