DEAR SIR,
DG3 TESTED FOR REMOTE STOP, DURING TURNING THE KNOB TO STOP ENGINE FROM DG MSB PANEL, 24V
SUPPLIED AND (MAGNETIC VALVE ENGINE STOP/CONTROL) ACTIVATED AND THE ENGINE STOP.
FOR ACTUAL TEST OF ENERGIZING COIL, DG1 (ENG STOP MAGNETIC VALVE/CONTROL) DISCONNECTED AND
SUPPLIED 24V TO SEE IF THE COIL ENERGIZE, IN THIS CASE COIL ENERGIZED. AS WE TEST ALL ENERGIZING
COIL AND SWITCHES IT APPEARS COMPONENT ARE WORKING.

PLEASE SEE PHOTO FOR THE LIST OF DG1 CONNECTION LINE OF MAGNETIC VALVES/SWITCHES ELECTRICIAN
INSPECTED AND FOUND IN NORMAL CONDITION.
DG1 MAGNETIC VALVE FOR ENG START 20/21 ENERGIZING COIL IS DEFECTIVE (ONLY FOR REMOTE START)
DG3 ENERGIZING COIL WAS DISCONNECTED AND USED TO DG1 FOR TESTING, SAME RESULT.
(REMARK: JUST TO BE MORE SURE, MAGNETIC VALVE FOR ENG STOP 24/25 (FOR CONTROL) WILL BE
INSPECTED AGAIN FOR VERIFICATION.

17 SEPT. 1. Put back megger test and repaint slewing electrical motor of provision crane test hoisting up and down
TUESDAY slewing left and right, boom up and down found good working order.
2. Wash paints all standby electrical motor at engine room.
18 SEPT. 1. Renewed new air filter intake of aux. engine no.1 alternator.
WEDNESDAY 2. Repaint electrical panel box of provision crane.
3. Add 60 litters of oil telus 68 for crane no. 2 and crane no.3
4. Continued working engine room lights.
19 SEPT. 1. Repair and rectify electrical receptacle socket 3rd level engine room area.
THURSDAY 2. Inspection together with 2nd engineer grab hydraulic oil from grab no.1 to grab no.4
3. Continued working and cleaned electrical light of engine room fluorescent light.
4 .Rectify electrical panel box cover of crane no.2.
20 SEPT. 1. Troubleshoot no.1 drinking water hydrophore electrical control circuit and power circuit found defective
FRIDAY electrical magnetic contactor ,circuit breaker and electrical wire for no.1 electric motor due to occur fire at
generator no.2.
2. Continued working electrical light engine room area.
21 SEPT. 1. Continued troubleshoot no.1 generator safety device check engine stop magnetic valve test found good
SATURDAY order we found out no supply of 24VDC at no.24 and 25 terminal.
2. Weekly test emergency generator fire alarm bilge alarm emergency fire pump and free fall life boat all are
carried out.
3. Rectify and repair light signal column at boiler, incinerator and steering room.
4. Test safety device of main engine fuel leakage alarm and incinerator alarm.
