A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2020 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM

(ABYIP) OF BARANGAY PULONG MATONG

WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “the State recognizes the vital
role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and
social, well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in
public and civic affairs”;

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the Sangguniang
Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states that “In consultation and with
the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, and within three (3) months from the assumption of office,
formulate a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan, which shall serve as basisin preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program.”;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Pulong
Matong drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for 2020-2022 last November
24, 2019;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pulong Matong has prepared the 2020 Annual Barangay
Youth Investment Program in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth Investment Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN OF BARANGAY PULONG MATONG to approved its 2020 Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program.

Adopted this 1st day of December 2019 at Barangay Pulong Matong Hall, Pulong Matong, General Tinio, Nueva
Ecija.

 NOW THEREFORE, be it adopted by this Body that:

Section 1. The annual budget of this ABYIP for calendar year 2019 is hereby approved as follows;

Ten percent (10%) of the General Fund of the Barangay Php 250,486.80

TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATIONS Php 250,486.80

MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE)

A. TRAVELLING EXPENSES Php 4,477.064

B. OFFICE SUPPLIES EXPENSES Php 3,000.00

C. ANNUAL DUES Php 5,009.736

SK YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

A. EQUITABLE ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION Php 20,000.00

B. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Php 20,000.00

C. SPORTS DEVELOPMENT Php 80,000.00

D. CAPABILITY BUILDING Php 118,000.00

SUBTOTAL: Php 238,000.00

 RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward copies of this Resolution approving the Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program (ABYIP) Budget for Calendar Year 2020 to the Sangguniang Barangay for appropriate action
and other concerned agencies.
