A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2019 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM

(ABYIP) OF BARANGAY PULONG MATONG

WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “the State recognizes the vital
role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and
social, well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in
public and civic affairs”;

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the Sangguniang
Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states that “In consultation and with
the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, and within three (3) months from the assumption of office,
formulate a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan, which shall serve as basisin preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program.”;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Barangay Pulong
Matong drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for 2018-2020 last September
30, 2018;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pulong Matong has prepared the 2019 Annual Barangay
Youth Investment Program in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth Investment Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN OF BARANGAY PULONG MATONG to approved its 2019 Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program.

Adopted this 30TH day of December 2018 at Barangay Pulong Matong Hall, Pulong Matong, General Tinio,
Nueva Ecija.

 NOW THEREFORE, be it adopted by this Body that:

Section 1. The annual budget of this ABYIP for calendar year 2019 is hereby approved as follows;

Ten percent (10%) of the General Fund of the Barangay Php 225,886.40

TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATIONS Php 225, 886.40

B. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Php 20,000.00

C. HEALTH AND ANTI-DRUG ABUSE Php 75,000.00

D. GOVERNANCE Php 88,368.672

E. CULTURAL ACTIVITIES Php 5,000.00

 RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward copies of this Resolution approving the Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program (ABYIP) Budget for Calendar Year 2019 to the Sangguniang Barangay for appropriate action
and other concerned agencies.
