The TVSM plant is around 48.5 kms from the college & we started our journey from the college
by 12.50pm on 22/04/2019 by a private mode of transportation (a 25 Seater mini bus). The
journey lasted for around 1 hour & 15 minutes. There were some speculations about restriction
of state permit vehicles entry into Tamil nadu border. However since the TVSM plant is located
exactly at the state border check post, there was no worry of crossing the check post.

We reported to the security of TVSM at 2.10PM .After completing the security formalities, Mr
Vishal P received us in the gate & gave us a brief introduction about the company’s history ,its
Products, awards, achievements & the current manufacturing capabilities.

All the visitors were instructed much earlier to wear shoes compulsorily before entering the
plant. Aprons were provided for the women visitors at the gate.

Mr.Vishal guided us to inside of the plant by around 2.50pm & gave a introduction about the
two wheelers which were displayed at the entrance. Later he took us to Automated CNC
Machining cells which were used for machining engine components like crank cases, cylinder
heads etc. These cells were fully automated & robots does the job of loading & unloading the
parts into the machine without any intervention of Human operators.

Then we were taken to Radeon engine assembly line & the visit was concluded at Vehicle
