City of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Shilldev Inc. have concluded

agreements in principle for the development of downtown projects

Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, December 20, 2019 - City Council is proud to announce the signing of
two agreements in principle with Shilldev Inc., chaired by Mr. Stephen J. Shiller, businessman and
citizen of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, for the development of two major projects to stimulate the
downtown revitalization.

The City joins forces with Shilldev, to develop two properties belonging to the town, namely the
land it acquired at the southeast corner of Saint-Vincent and Principale Est as well as at Place
Lagny. The first agreement will permit Shilldev Inc. to analyze and present to the City, by spring
2020, proposals for the construction of a mixed-use building, including rental housing and office
or commercial space. The second, will highlight the renovation of Place Lagny, creating a
multifunctional room with indoor and outdoor stages.

"These agreements mark an important step in the implementation of the town’s DESTINATION
2030 development plan, as they will lay the foundation for the revitalization of our city center”
stressed mayor Denis Chalifoux. “After having completed the improvements to the Alouette dock
and Place Lagny’s shoreline, we are now tackling the renewal of the town center."

“We are proud and excited to be part of the revitalization of downtown Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
As 2020 will be a very positive year and pivotal for DESTINATION 2030. We wish all Agathoises
and Agathois, Happy Holidays" said Mr. Shiller.

These agreements will make it possible to design buildings that better meet today’s needs and
will aim to increase traffic and ensure the vitality our downtown commercial and events areas.
