Dan of FKK KC Reviews His Stay At Show Me Acres

A report on Show Me Acres Nudist Resort:

Show Me Acres Naturist Resort: My wonderful woman and I recently seen the imperial
(relative term) Show Me Acres naturist resort in Missouri. The resort is situated near the Lake
of the Ozarks - a large man-made reservoir and Missouri's biggest state park. We ventured
outside by ourselves with no expectations, reservations or strategies. We called ahead, of
course, to be sure that there were camping plots accessible.
We made the 2 hour journey from Kansas City on a Saturday, about noon, and arrived later
than we intended. But to that, I say, we were in no rush in the first place. Upon arriving at the
pole iron front gate, we were greeted by two large real lionsinteresting. Not an issue in my
own novel.
Upon entering the resort, we were allowed viewpoints of only trees, a gravel path and a fine
welcoming sign. It was a decent drive, through the woods, down the hill and into the opening
which would hold the centre of the grounds.
A fine large house with a huge lovely yard backed up to some rather large pool, hot tub, sun
deck set up that was built close to the ENORMOUS clubhouse. We parked and needless to
say, right off, I was naked. My lady, again, keeping clothed. ( Matters naturist. I admired his
fiery and determined free spirit will get there!) We walked to the clubhouse, past couples
already chatting and bathing naked in sunlight, where we entered and registered. Another
quick process and instead escalated fees (not unreasonable but higher than we would have
liked).
Once welcomes and small chit chat was found, we left to find our campground on this 130
acre piece of land. Nestled back in the trees, at the end of a auto broad path, next to a
stream, we set up camp. My woman left her past behind, along with her clothes. We caught
our cooler and headed back to the pool.
We weren't greeted nor spoke to in the beginning. The group there seemed to have a bit of
apprehension toward us, so we found a spot in the corner and proceeded to get comfy. We
were going to love ourselves no matter what others believed.
After a time, we were approached by a few people and spoke a bit and appreciated a little bit
of "get to know ya" chit chat. Eventually we located ourselves in the pool playing volleyball
with 12 other people. of the kouroswere its nakedness, its youth, and, therefore, its beauty.
But what was the significanceof was enjoyable!
At night, they hosted a pot luck, of which we knew about ahead, and a chili cook away! We
all ate and had good conversation and laughs and of course returned to the pool.
The bad experience was the horse flies! Sacred elephant trunks! Those things were huge!
Potentially contaminated by some sort of primordial ooze!
Only kidding. But Few folks understand that swimsuits, as we understand them today, are a
comparatively recent notion. The notion of were big!
Another day went pretty much exactly the same, save for the cocktail contest by which we
were judges. We met some fine couples and even one that lived out near us. All in all a great
experience. We did feel a bit "nickel and dimed" but not overly.
Oh, I almost forgot, they also had hotel rooms. Like genuine, real hotel rooms with the
greatest showers I Have ever seen.
We'd urge a visit. It's a bit far for our taste, but we shall definitely be returning.
