# GI Cloud (Meghraj), NDC, SDC for cloud
services, backend storage of data & application

- e-Sangam {National Service Delivery Gateway (NSDG)


/ State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG)} acting as a
middleware for integrating various Central / State

- Mobile platform under the Mobile Seva project for

channels such as SMS, USSD, IVRS and mobile apps

Principles of e-Kranti

1. Transformation & not Translation


 Pre-requisite of substantial transformation in quality, quantity
& manner of delivery of service
 Proposal to be accompanied by statement of changes in the
Act & Rules or to be bring new legislation to ensure the legal
sustainability
 Fresh dose of transformation through appropriate changes to
the scope of the earlier MMP
Transformation can be like process changes, introduction of
technology in innovative ways, introduction of self financing
business models & adoption of innovative models for delivery of
services.

2. Integrated Services & not Individual Services


 Providing integrated services on an end-to-end basis should
be the USP and the hallmark of e-Kranti.
 Extensive use of Aadhaar for identification of residents & use
of e-Pramaan framework developed by DeitY for
authentication of individuals are recommended in this
direction

 National Information Infrastructure 2.0 (NII 2.0)
- Upgraded network & cloud infrastructure from
technological, administrative & e-gov perspectives.
- Consolidate & integrate the current available &
proposed network infrastructure such as NKN, SWAN
& NOFN and leverage the latest network technologies
such as Software Defined Networks (SDN) to provide
network infrastructure to government departments on
demand.

- Centralized payment gateway for all

- Payment Modes: Net banking, CC, DC, Prepaid/Cash

- Launched in July 2011 for mainstreaming

- It serves as a guiding document for development

based on a risk based sensitivity of applications.

- New MMP viz “e-BhashaTakniki” has been proposed
for developing computing technologies & tools for
constitutionally recognized Indian languages so that e-gov

Incorporating the following features in e-Taal 2.0:

- Instituting an Inspection and Audit system (for quality of service)

- Evaluation of e-services integrated with e-Taal to assess relevance,

of service which will be integrated with e-Taal 2.0 to
