Air-operated Power Slip

PSA 150
The Blohm+Voss Type PSA 150 air-operated power slip is desi-
gned to enhance safety by eliminating personel on the rig floor
when operations require the use of slips.
The PSA 150 can be operated from the drillers console or by
using a foot valve at a safe distance from the rotary table. In case
of loss in air pressure, a safety device is installed to prevent the
lifting arm from engaging. Under such circumstances, the PSA
150 can be operated manually. The power slip accomodates B+V
standard rotary slips in the range of 2 3/8” to 7 5/8”, as well as
most other brands.

PSA 150 power slip features:

• Designed to be used with pipe in the
2 3/8” to 7 5/8” range.
• Works with normal rig air supply.
• Adjustable speed control and safety
device.
• PSA 150 is designed not to interfere
with iron roughneck operations.

• Pipe range: 2 3/8” to 7 5/8”
• Dimensions:
560mm W, 1200mm L, 530mm H

• Weight: 178 kg without slip segments.
