Eligibility : Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical/ Production Engg. (Fresher/ Experienced)
Duration : 19th June, 2017 to 14th October, 2017
First lecture : 19th June, 2017 at 8.00 am.
Timing : Monday to Saturday – 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
Last date of Admission : 12th June, 2017
Fees : Rs 95,000 + 15 % Service Tax extra = Rs 109,250

• Stress Strain Diagram
• Basic process requirement of plant/project
• Iron Carbide Diagram
• Detailed study of: • Beam Bending Diagram
Various piping system,
Procedure of designing piping system, • Fluid Mechanics
Material selection for various process services, • Basic Stresses eg. PD/2T,
Piping elements, their joining methods,
Relevant Standards/ Codes, their importance and applications, PD/4T
Valves & Nozzles.
• Forces Movement
• Document Study: displacement
Use of vendor data in design,
• Material Co-efficient
Various documents required for plant design.
• Materials
• Basic information on welding, its testing and inspection.
• Engineering Drawing
• Preparation of:
Piping material specification,
Valve specification and data sheets,
Nozzle orientation of process equipment,
Bill of Material at various stages,
Isometric drawings and final MTO.
• Development of:
Equipment layout,
Piping layout,
Industrial Plot Plan.
• Study of Analysis System using CAESAR II software, pipe supports & loop calculations.
• Plant Design Management System (PDMS) Software.
• Site Visit will be arranged at industrial plant.
