Q1. Who can apply for the Grants under AQIS Scheme?
All AICTE approved Technical Institutions/University Departments can apply for the AICTE Quality Improvement Schemes

Q3. Can a proposal be submitted in the form of Hard Copy?

Ans. No, AICTE will consider only those applications which are received on-line.

Q3. How are the proposals considered and processed for being eligible to receive grants?
All proposals which are received by AICTE are evaluated by an Experts Committee comprising three members who are not

Q8. What will be the status of assets created from out of AICTE grants?
The assets acquired out of the grant shall be the property of the Institution and should always reflect in its book of accounts

grant shall be disposed off without the prior permission of the Council.
Can Institutes incurre expenditure on overhead (Admin. Charges, including audit fee) from out of the grants released by

Q10. When should the project completion report with all mandatory documents, be submitted

Ans. Within one month of project being completed.


Which are the mandatory documents required to be submitted for release of final installment for the Faculty

Development Program (FDP) ?
The final installment is released after the receipt of the following documents.
(i) Feed-back of the participants with signatures;
(ii) Photographs of the Conducted events.
Ans. (iii) Supporting bills/documents and paid vouchers on account of expenses incurred
for the purpose.
(iv) Copies of proceedings.
(v) These should be Counter singed by the Coordinator.

b. Audited Utilization certificate

The unspent balance is required to be refunded to AICTE through demand draft to be drawn in favour of Member Secretary,
