the following guidelines for you to be well-informed and better prepared for the
2nd semester.
The following slides contain information on the Career Guidance Week and
Technofair Tour, Immersion Orientation and the 2nd semester class and
orientation schedules.

Nov. 18 – 22, 2019
 Career Guidance Week

Is the program of the Guidance office to assist the SHS

students in making sound decisions for their future. The
students can also take advantage of this time to seek the
help of their guidance counselors in choosing a career
based on the result of their psychological test.
Overview TechnoFair

Alongside the Career Guidance Week, the

Technofair will also take place on Nov. 18-22, 2019.
During this week, engaging activities will be
conducted for the SHS Grade 12 students. This is
also the prelude to the Immersion Program for the
2 nd semester.
Grade 12 Senior High School Students are required to attend the
following activities during the Career Guidance Week:

1. Career Guidance Talk and Technofair

2. Work Immersion Orientation

The activities are equivalent to student class attendance, ELE

points, and Performance Task in all subjects.

Leaders and Professionals with Integrity and Excellence

Career Guidance 10 ELE Points
Talk and Technofair- 20 Points for PT

Work Immerion 10 ELE Points

Orientation 20 Points for PT

Tardiness will result into an automatic rating of 50% of the points

for the indicated activities. No appearance means zero.
Leaders and Professionals with Integrity and Excellence
Class Mayors and Attendance Monitors are
requested to check the class attendance during the
Career Guidance Tour/Technofair and the Work
Immersion Orientation.

They are requested to submit the attendance sheet

to their Homeroom Adviser at the end of the activity

Guidelines:

1.The Career Guidance Week and TechnoFair is

considered a class week. Therefore, everyone is
required to attend.
2.Aside from the credits in attendance and participation
to the activities in the TechnoFair, each attendee will
receive the corresponding points.
3.Be in your complete school uniform.

5. The Career Guidance Week and TechnoFair is also the

prelude to Work Immersion. At the end of the TechnoFair
Tour, each student must decide whether to go intensive or
rotation by dropping his/her name at the box provided
(your guide will also direct you).

DepEd’s GOAL on Immersion:

• facilitate the realization of one of the goals of

the K to 12 Basic Education Program which is to
develop in learners the competencies, work
ethic, and values relevant to pursuing further
education and/or joining the world of work.

• It is a requirement for graduation from

secondary education, thus, compliance is
compulsory.
