1 First look
After opening project you will see this window.

So you have two options:

 Start with “Main Composition” item – which contains a main 25sec video project you have seen
in a preview. All text lines and scenes are already placed and ready to be adjusted and edited by
your needs. (follow below instructions how to do it)

 Or use “Make A Video By Yourself” folder for start making your own unique video. This folder is
keeping all modular elements [scenes, text lines and app images] to make your own new video.
(follow below instructions how to do it)

2 Entering “Main Composition”

In this composition every scene and text lines are placed in the timeline according to a moment
when it needs to be shown. So just drag time slider to a moment when you want to edit, select
layer you want to edit and double click on it.

(to change texts or add APP image or wall footage double click on any of these compositions.)

3 Editing “Text line” placeholders

Select any of “text line” layers according to a time. Double click on it. After it opens you should be
able to edit text layer and write your own text.

You can change position, size, color of the text.

In case you don`t need one or another text line- just enter that text placeholder and delete it. [The same
goes with all kind of placeholders]

The processes of changing other text placeholders are the same and straight forward. In case you still
miss something feel free to contact me via email.

4 Changing App images inside “Scene” composition

Just double click on any of “Scene#” placeholder to enter “Scene” composition.

After opening you should see 3 layers: two of “add your screen” and “hand gestures”.

Double click on one of two “add your screen” layers and drag&drop your image or app video
footage. As you already understand – the screen interaction will be made between those two layers.

5 Changing screen interaction

To change between interactions you have to select “hand gesture” layer. And in Effects Window you
will get these options.

A “Hand gesture” layer has 10 checkbox to choose what interaction you need.

Also you can turn ON/OFF screen interaction mode. Or if you need faster/shorter duration for transition
you can slide “Time before screen slide” slider. Also if you don`t like hand icon symbol – you can easily
turn it off by checking “Hand icon ON/Off” checkbox.

Everything else is quite straight forward and does what the name says it does : )

For every other scene the working system is the same. Have fun! 

6 Final scene

For a final scene there are 3 layers : one for adding your app logo, second for app store icons and third is
for a slogan. Double click on every layer to enter and add your own stuff.

7 “Make A Video By Yourself” folder

Double click on “Make A Video By Yourself” composition. You should get this view. Note that in this
image below there are some scenes already placed. In your downloaded project you will see blanc
screen.

So, this “Make A Video By Yourself” composition is for you to render once you will have “Place your
scenes inside here” comp ready. In other words “Make A Video By Yourself” composition is only for
rendering because it keeps all effects. [it is hide so you will not be able to see them]

So double click on “Place your scenes inside here” comp and start making your own promo video.

You have 13 different scenes in “Scenes” folder. Take one of the scenes you need and drag & drop to
your composition as shown in image below.

The same way put text lines from “Text Lines” folder. Put text lines above the scene layers because
otherwise they will not be seen.

There are some notes about “text line” attributes. They all have some additional noise elements in the
beginning. If you want to give some noise elements for a scene footage [this will make better transition
between scenes] – press this star/lighting symbol as you can see in an image below.
