“Technology is making people less creative”

Is it? Or is it not?, considering the question of whether technology is

making people less creative, everyone does possess individual talents and
one of that reason is technology. People are gifted in different ways, some
spend their time creating something new, and by that technology is
created. Technology is a body knowledge devoted to creating tools,
processing actions and the extracting of materials or in other words it
makes our life easier (1). Contemplating upon the manner of this
generation each one of us might be spending our time doing or thinking to
help improve our lives, technological advances emerged to be minimal in
everyday life.
It is the reason of what we have improved today, it is important to
highlight the fact that technology occurs as an integral part of social reality.
Technology is also an application of science used to solve problems. But is
vital to know that technology and science are different subjects which work
hand-in-hand to accomplish specific task or solve problems. The
application of technology typically results in products. Without this human
knowledge technology wouldn’t exist.
No, considering what is stated, it is said people created technology to
help us to improve our daily lives, but we shouldn’t abuse it. It comes to the
point we become lazy but it doesn’t stop us from thinking creative things.
Technology is a part of our lives and we can’t live without it, it can help us
improve our learnings and skills just like digital arts, 3D animations, etc to
extract our ideas in it and bring it into reality. Due to technology humans
live longer, communicate easier, travel faster, learn quicker and as we’re
still in our infancy stages of technology compared to what’s going to be in
the next millennium (2).
But does technology led people to be less creative?
No, Technology sometimes has a bad reputation for leading people
down scary paths just like introducing predators into their lives. However,
technology can streamline schedules, simplify work and home businesses,
coordinate activities, and much more (3). If technology is well applied, it
benefits humans, but the opposite is true, if used for malicious reasons.
The problem then will be that we will be very much dependent on that same
technology to survive, and if a massive disaster takes out a chunk of that
informational ecosystem things could collapse onto themselves, taking the
world down into chaos with it, and since people won’t know how to do
manual labor it will be much harder to recover from such a thing compared
to something similar if it were to happen today.
As can be seen, technologies are vastly used around the world and
made a huge impact on the development of modern world that started from
a simple blueprint crafted from the minds of such creative people then was
later on innovated to something big and sensational for not only did it
change the lives of many, but the whole society.
